Healing in Our Redemption: Glorifying God in Your Body

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned

Sickness came into the world when sin came into the world.
Sickness did not just start. It is a curse of sin.

1 Corinthians 5:7 For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us

The Passover for us now is the Lord’s table.
The Lord’s table when eaten with understanding will cause sickness to be healed.

1 Corinthians 11:30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep

Healing allows you to glorify God in your body.
God has redemptive names
1. Jehovah Jireh, the Lord your provider Genesis 22:14
2. Jehovah Nissi, the Lord our banner Exodus
3. Jehovah Yekkadia the Lord who sanctifies Exodus 13:31
4. Jehovah Shalom, the Lord who gives peace Judges 6:24

6. Jehovah Tsidkenu Jeremiah 23:7 the Lord my righteousness
7. Jehovah Shammah Ezekiel 48:36 the Lord who is always present or at hand in every situation

10. Jehovah Rophi or Jehovah Rapha The Lord our healer Exodus15:26

We cannot preach healing without Calvary or the cross. Healing is not for the future. It is for now. If we need healing it is here and now and Jesus going to Calvary provided healing for us.

Mathew 8:17

Divine healing is based on the atonement.
Atonement is bringing two enemies together to live in peace, so when we sinned in the garden, Jesus came to be our atonement and was nailed to the cross to restore us to wholeness. So to receive healing, we have to believe in the cross.

Numbers 16:46-49
