Ordination services are always special; because we are officially out-dooring and commissioning men and women called of God to go forth, preach His word and be a blessing to His people.

Mathew 26:26-27

Jesus before crucifixion had the Lord’s Table with his disciples. Jesus took one of the breads, he broke it and gave it to them.

These four words signifies what the Lord does with us. After we’ve been born and go about our lives, God calls us at some point and breaks and moulds us. He chooses us not because we are qualified but calls us anyway.

It is not by merit, so that the excellence will be of Him and not of man.
God calls us because we are a product of grace. It is not by merit so we should always be happy to be chosen.

If it was by merit, Solomon would not have been qualified to build the temple. When God takes you in your imperfections, he blesses you regardless of your past.
Favour is not fair. Otherwise, why would Pharoah chose a prisoner, who wasn’t even an Egyptian to be second in command.

The merit and blessing of God, pushes us into places and positions, that on our own we cannot get to.

It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow to it.

If God can make water come out of a rock, what can he not do? All you have to do is to be faithful in the little you have.
Genesis 24:35 He says and the Lord has blessed my master greatly. He didn’t say, my master has worked hard.

When God takes you, and breaks you, and bless you, and gives you to be a blessing, He anoints you with oil so that you are enclosed in his protection, and he spreads your territory all over the place.

When God calls you and bless you, your cup runs over and you always have more than enough.
You operate in God’s economy and not man’s economy.

Allow God to take you, break you, bless you and give you back as a blessing to the world.

All you need do is give your life to Jesus; the lamb who was slain for you.
