Allow God To Control Your Destiny

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 168 (17/06/2022)
Job 23:14 (NLT) “So he will do for me all he has planned. He controls my destiny.”
We live in a world where because of a little hardship, people can consult other spiritual mediums to inquire about their future and destiny. Don’t have itchy ears to plunge you into destruction. You must understand that these spirits and mediums you consult will control you and place a demand on your life in the form of curses and may cut short your life.
Only God can truly bless you without bringing you evil, so allow Him to control your life and destiny so that He will bring to pass all the beautiful things He has planned for you.
Here are three things to do to allow God to steer your destiny:
1. Seek understanding of God’s will.
“Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.” – Ephesians 5:17
It is practically impossible to walk with the Lord and expect His help and blessings when you don’t know what His will is. If you don’t understand what He expects from you to make His grace and power work for you, you will live a frustrated life, feeling that God has disappointed you. Ask Him in prayer to help you understand His will in the Scriptures.
2. Learn to fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” – 2 Corinthians 13:14
The Holy Spirit has been given by God and our Lord Jesus to go alongside us to be our comforter, helper, guide, counsellor and strengthener. When we develop close fellowship with Him, we’ll begin to experience the fullness of His work and ministry in our lives.
3. Serve the Lord faithfully.
“If they hearken and serve him, They shall spend their days in prosperity, And their years in pleasures.” – Job 36:11 (ASV)
Be committed to serving the Lord faithfully and the Lord will not forget your work and labour of love. As you take care of the Lord’s business, He will also take very good care of you.
Precious one, position yourself with God so that He will control your destiny as you seek to understand His will, fellowshipping with His Spirit and serving in His house.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, in trust, I re-dedicate my life and destiny into Your hands; take control and cause me to reach my destiny, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Receive God’s Plan for Your Life

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 167 (16/06/2022)
Proverbs 27:1 (NKJV) “Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth.”
God holds the future of everyone on earth. In other words, He has determined His plan for every soul that is born. And so though we may not have the power to control the events and circumstances tomorrow may bring, we can subscribe to God’s plan for us, knowing that He will make all things work together for our good.
Apostle James also said “You don’t really know about tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for only a short while before it vanishes.” (James 4:14).This is the more reason why we need to receive God’s plan for our lives so that no matter how long we live, it will be a meaningful and purposeful life.
Here are three steps to receiving God’s plan for your life:
1. You must be born again.
John 15:5 (NKJV) “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
Without Jesus nothing can be done and no purpose can be truly accomplished. As such, every person must profess Jesus as their Lord and Saviour in order to walk into God’s plan for their life because the Scripture says that Jesus is “the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world” (John 1:9)
2. Commit your steps to the Lord.
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
Romans 8:14
God does not reveal to us all the details of His plan for us at once. We’ve got to trust Him to be led step by step. And that’s why Wisdom instructs us to acknowledge God in all our ways and He will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6)
3. Do not resist as God guides you.
Joshua 18:3 (NKJV) “Then Joshua said to the children of Israel: “How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers has given you?”
Some people know God’s plan for them but they have chosen not to take that path. Do not neglect to possess God’s plan for you because of your personal ambition or fear of personal weaknesses. God’s perfect will is always the best option for you to take.
Precious one, remember that God can only perfect His plan for you when you receive Jesus as Lord, while you also commit your steps to God without resisting His plans for you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I gladly receive Your plan for my life and family, and I ask You to guide me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Develop Confidence in God

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 166 (15/06/2022)
Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”
Confidence is a true virtue of life; without it we cannot live a full life, we will not surmount challenges, we will not accomplish great feats and we will miss amazing opportunities. This is why our confidence as believers must be in God.
Your confidence in God will make you know that whatever God has started in your life will surely be brought to an expected end. This means that failure to have this confidence can hinder you from seeing God’s promises manifest in your life.
Here are three ways to developing confidence in God:
1. Meditate on God’s ever-abiding presence.
Joshua 1:9 “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
To develop confidence, you must have a true revelation that God is with you and for you everywhere you go. For example, the shepherd boy David was stirred up in confidence the very moment he heard the defiance of Goliath. We are not told he even prayed about it first. But he could confront the giant because he was fully convinced that the Lord of hosts was with him.
2. Be fearless.
Psalms 27:3 “Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.”
As we set out to walk in faith with God, there will be unending battles to destroy our faith, like Peter who started in faith walking on the sea. With a fearless mindset we must strengthen our confidence in God’s Word, knowing that victory is guaranteed over every circumstance. Therefore, give fear no place.
3. Be mindful of what you hear.
2 Chronicles 32:8 (NLT) “He may have a great army, but they are just men. We have the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles for us!” These words greatly encouraged the people.”
What you listen to can either encourage you to advance or discourage you. The Scripture says that when the people of God heard the words of king Hezekiah, they were greatly encouraged. In the same way, we must deliberately seek to hear inspirational messages to develop confidence in God.
Precious one, meditate on God’s presence, be fearless and be mindful of what you hear if you want to develop confidence in God.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant me strength and wisdom as I seek to develop confidence in You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Focus on Your Assignment

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 165 (14/06/2022)
Philippians 3:13-14 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
It is scientific knowledge that if the rays of the sun are focused on a piece of paper, the paper will burn. That illustrates the power of focus or concentration. Many fail in life not because they are not gifted or talented but because they dissipate their energies in many things not related to their core assignment.
In the opening scripture, Apostle Paul said that he was committed to focusing on the call of God on his life, and that he would not allow his past or present to hinder his future objectives. In the same way, believers must focus on the assignment of God for their lives in order to become what God called them to be.
Here are three things to help you focus on your assignment:
1. Choose wisely.
“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.” – Deuteronomy 30:19.
Life is made up of choices. Good choices make you succeed, bad choices make you fail. Make every activity concerning your assignment a conscious choice. You must shift from a position of ‘I have to’ to that of ‘I choose to’. When you approach life as ‘I have to’ you put yourself in a position of pressure which causes resistance, resentment and dissipation of your energy. But a position of ‘I choose to’ gives a true sense of ownership and control.
2. Develop persistent consistency.
“But I tell you this—though he won’t do it for friendship’s sake, if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence.” – Luke 11:8 (NLT)
Consistency is one of the ingredients of focus. It is doing the right thing again and again until the required results is obtained. Inconsistency and quitting too early, both leads to failure.
3. Keep your eyes on the goal.
“So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left.” – Deuteronomy 5:32 (NIV)
Keep your mind’s eye on your goal by visualizing it. Stay on it and don’t get distracted by anything. Your focus will sustain you in difficult times and keep your feet from stumbling.
Precious one, by the power of focus you can have great accomplishment and make a lasting impact on your generation. Remember that choosing wisely, developing persistent consistency and keeping your eyes on your goal will help you maintain your focus.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive Your wisdom and grace to help me maintain focus to fulfill Your assignment for me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Find a Solitary Place

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 164 (13/06/2022)
Mark 1:35 “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.”
Some years ago, when I didn’t have many rooms in my house as a young pastor, I still squeezed some space and time to find a place to do my quiet time very early in the morning without disturbances. But now, I have a special study where I have my special time with God. There is much in our lives that distracts and prevents us from experiencing genuine communion with God. That is why we must seek a solitary place to commune with Him daily, as Jesus did.
Our quiet time must be the most important practice in our lives if we want to grow in the Lord. If we find a place that is special to us, we will enjoy special communion with God in that place. That place may not be special to another person but since we have made it a routine to meet God there, it will become a special place of communion with God.
Here are three reasons why we must commune with God in a solitary place:
1. God looks forward to communing with us daily.
Like God sought communion with Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:8-9), He seeks communion with us daily. When we draw near to Him, He draws near to us. Above all the distractions around us, we need to commit to daily time alone with God. It’s our time of devotions and daily communication with God that He speaks into our lives and meets our deepest.
2. It provides calmness to meditate on His Word.
Having a quiet place and time with the Lord provides you calmness and concentration to meditate on Scripture. The Psalmist writes in Psalm 1:1-2 “Blessed is the man…(whose)…delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law doth he meditates day and night.” If we want to grow in our faith like the fruitful tree planted by the rivers of water, we must make time to meditate on His Word to receive fresh manna to sustain us through the day.
3. Jesus did it.
We must imitate the Lord in everything we do because we are his disciples. Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 11:1, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” Because Jesus did it, we must do it because He calls us to follow Him. If Jesus needed quiet time with God, how can we go by without it? It should be no wonder many believers go through life defeated by circumstances. Build up strength by finding a solitary place to have genuine communion with God as Jesus did.
Precious one, when we find a solitary place to have genuine communion with God daily, we are demonstrating that God is our topmost priority in life, and we are practically fulfilling the scripture that we should seek first the kingdom of God.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me find and set a solitary place and time to commune with You daily; and cause me to be established in You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Don’t Be Trapped by Love Of Money

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 163 (12/06/2022)
Ecclesiastes 5:10 (NLT) “Those who love money will never have enough. How absurd to think that wealth brings true happiness!”
Wealth doesn’t bring true happiness to man. There are records of many people who spent their lives amassing wealth and had no peace and true happiness in the midst of their comfort.
True happiness is having Christ in your life. No amount of money is ever truly enough for anyone—whether rich or poor—because there are always more things more money can do. And so people who are trapped by love for money will be led in the wrong path, even the paths of evil. Therefore, believers must be careful not to be under the control of the love of money.
Here are three ways to avoiding the love for money:
1. Be satisfied with what you have.
Hebrews 13:5 (NLT) “Stay away from the love of money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never forsake you.”
While we aspire for greater things, it’s important to be content with our present blessings. Contentment will keep you from using an evil door to get wealth even if that opportunity was given to you on a silver platter, but it will guide you to take advantage of the right door to get money.
2. Make up your mind to give.
2 Corinthians 9:7 (NLT) “You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give. Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves the person who gives cheerfully.”
If you want to avoid the love for money, then make up your mind to give. Purpose in your heart to give and don’t be reluctant but rather, take advantage of opportunities to give no matter how small. If you are able to let go of some money easily and comfortably, then it’s a sign you are not trapped by the love of money.
3. Don’t be greedy.
1 Corinthians 6:10 (NLT) “thieves, greedy people, drunkards, abusers, and swindlers—none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God.”
Money has the power and ability to influence people. It also has the ability to magnify people’s greed. If you realise that you are ready to acquire money by evil and false means, then you are under the control of the love of money. Submit yourself, therefore, to God’s Word and pray for your heart to be delivered from greed.
Precious one, if you want to avoid the love of money, then be satisfied with what you have, make up your mind to give and don’t be greedy.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, let not my desire be for the love of money, but for You who gives power to make wealth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Don’t Lose Guard in Faith

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 162 (11/06/2022)
Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
The Bible tells us that we walk by faith, not by sight and it is by faith that we can please God. However, there are things that challenges every Christian’s faith. However, as we commit to the walk of faith, we need to ensure that we do not lose our guard in faith, because it is our faith that brings us victory.
Here are three things to do to keep standing in faith:
  1. Be patient.
Hebrews 6:12 “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”
We have to develop the capacity of patience for our faith to go the full term of delivering to us the promises we are believing for. With patience, you must hold on tightly to your confessions of faith.
  1. Celebrate the Lord.
2 Chronicles 20:21 “And…he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.”
As king Jehoshaphat and Judah were looking forward to victory over their enemies, they set themselves to praise and celebrate the Lord and as they began to sing, God scattered their enemies. Wait on the Lord in patience and with celebrations.
  1. Guard your heart and mind from doubt.
James 1:6-7 “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts…That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.”
You have to be alert to arrest any doubtful thought and feelings that the enemy will throw at you. You cannot afford to entertain doubt in your heart and mind because if you do you cannot receive anything from God.
Precious one, remember that victory will be yours as you walk in faith with patience, praise, while protecting your heart and mind from doubts.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I celebrate You for Your unfailing promises. I believe I have received the fulfilment of Your promises in my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Respect Your Job

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 161 (10/06/2022)
Proverbs 22:29 “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”
To respect your job is to value it and to attach to it all seriousness and diligence for maximum output. When you show respect for your work, you are able to develop skills and abilities which can help you to stand before kings because of your excellence. This means that more opportunities and breakthroughs await you when you show respect to your job.
If we want to move our nation and society forward, then one of the things to do is to respect our jobs.
Here are three keys to help you respect your job:
1. Report on time to work.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”
The scripture above says there is time for every purpose under the heaven. Your job has a particular time of reporting and must be complied with as sincerely as possible. Don’t report to work late and avoid giving flimsy excuses.
2. Work hard.
Acts 20:35 (NIV) “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ’It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Everyone is paid for the work he/she does. Have respect for your job by motivating yourself to work hard knowing that God will reward your labour.
3. Avoid embezzling funds.
Ephesians 5:11 (NKJV) “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.”
Embezzling funds at the workplace is an act of “fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness”. Such an attitude must not be tolerated because it can ultimately bring shame and destruction to you. Avoid embezzling funds and respect your job.
Precious one, respect your job by following these key principles. Report on time to work, work hard and avoid embezzling funds.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to develop a disciplined lifestyle regarding my job and let every lazy attitude be destroyed, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Are You Still In Love?

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 160 (09/06/2022)
Revelation 2:4(AMP) “But I have this [charge] against you, that you have left your first love [you have lost the depth of love that you first had for Me].”
Are you still in love with Jesus? Have you left your first love? As believers, we experience a surge of love that fuels our walk with God and brings pleasure, delight, and satisfaction when we give our lives to Him. The Devil seeks to see us walk away from this feeling, hence we must stay alert and be aware of the danger of leaving our first love.
From today’s reading, Jesus cautioned the Church of Ephesus to repent and return from leaving their first love.
Here are three areas of our first love we must return to:
1. Our obedience to God’s Word
Because God’s Word doesn’t age, we must at all times use it as our guide. More importantly, obedience to God’s word demonstrates that we love Him. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 11:1 (NKJV), “Therefore you shall love the Lord your God, and keep His charge, His statutes, His judgments, and His commandments always.”
2. Our worship of God
When love for God grows cold our worship is affected. The Bible tells us in John 4:23-24 (NKJV), “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth”. Since our worship is the one thing God is seeking, we need to return to the place of true worship.
3. Our service to God
Many believers in the midst of the pressures of life have taken the service of God for granted. Have you abandoned serving God? I urge you to go back right now! The Bible says in 1 Samuel 12:24, “Only fear the LORD, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you”.
Precious one, Jesus is calling us to return to our first love. We must surrender our lives back to Him for His arms are ever open to receive us back.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I’m sorry for ever leaving my first love. As I return to You with all my heart, rekindle a fresh and undying fire in my heart, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Organise Your Life

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 159 (08/06/2022)
1 Corinthians 14:40 “Let all things be done decently and in order.”
The opening scripture admonishes us to do all things decently and in order because God is a God of order. He systematically created the world with each day having its own agenda. God expects His people to exhibit this virtue in life. We must be imitators of God in this regard for maximum productivity. As a child of God, your life must be organised and must be in order.
Here are three ways to organise your life:
1. Plan before you act.
Luke 14:28-30 “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build and was not able to finish.”
You must plan before you act on specific things in your life. For instance in the scripture above, as you set to build your house, ensure you have secured a litigation-free land, ensure you have enough money to start, ensure you have an architectural design for the house you want to build, etc. Failure to do this will make you disorganised, so plan before you embark on anything you want to do in life.
2. Make a to-do list as you go.
Habakkuk 2:2 “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
Organise your life by writing down important things you have to do within the day or week. Make reference to them and ensure you execute them in a way that will save you time, money and energy. Your to-do may also be extended to cover your short and long-term goals or vision. All these must be spelt out clearly and written down in order for your life to be organised.
3. Wisely and honestly manage with little.
Luke 16:10 “Whoever is faithful with little is also faithful with much, and the one who is dishonest with little is also dishonest with much.
Much as we expect to encounter breakthroughs in life, we must learn to be faithful and honest with the little we have. Don’t spend impulsively. Be guided by your budget and to-do or to-have list. Remember to prioritize necessities and savings or investments. Ask for wisdom and grace to be like Jesus who maximized the little boy’s lunch and still had many leftovers.
Precious one, organise your life by planning before you act, making a to-do list and by wisely and honestly managing what you have.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive wisdom to organise my life and affairs orderly with maximum productivity, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Pray For Your Family

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 158 (07/06/2022)
Psalms 68:6 (NKJV) “God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.”
The opening scripture implies that God places individuals into families. And we know that God always takes people from a bad place into a good place. For example, the verse says God brings out those bound into prosperity. That means if God places people into families, then the family is intended by God to be a good place.
God intended for the family to be a place of love, companionship, support, godly training and blessings. But as is characteristic of the devil to destroy everything good, his plan is to destroy families, and he has unfortunately succeeded to a great extent. We must therefore rise in prayer to keep and protect the families God has blessed us with.
Here are three reasons why you must pray for your family:
1. So that the devil cannot attack your family.
Mark 10:9 “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
The devil seeks to destroy homes by stealing their love, peace, joy and prosperity, and by causing misunderstandings, bitterness and rejections. You must therefore pray so that you don’t give Satan a foothold in your marriage and family. If the devil has already caused some trouble, use your authority in Christ to rebuke and cast him out.
2. So that anger does not destroy your family.
Colossians 3:21 “Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.”
Every father carries great responsibility in the family to hold it together and must therefore be careful not to deal with his family, especially the children, in an unreasonable or unfair manner. Through prayer, fathers can receive wisdom to deal wisely with their children in not neglecting or abandoning them, lest they grow up to resent and hate the parent.
3. So that your family will be blessed.
Genesis 28:14 “And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.”
God has blessed every family on earth through the prophetic word which He gave to Abraham our father. But for this blessing to be made manifest in our families, we must enforce it through prayer on behalf of our families.
Precious one, pray for your family so that the devil cannot attack them, so that anger does not destroy your family and above all so that your family will experience the promised blessings of Abraham.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, protect my family from the evil one and let the blessings of Abraham be made manifest in my family, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Listen To His Voice

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 157(06/06/2022)
John 2:5 “His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.”
In the opening scripture, Mary, the mother of Jesus, advised the servants at a wedding ceremony to listen to Jesus. God expects us to listen to His voice because in His voice is direction, counsel and supply. We cannot be His servants yet refuse to listen to His voice. If the sheep refuse to listen to their shepherd, they will surely go astray. In the same way, if we refuse to listen to His voice, we will go astray.
Here are three ways of hearing His voice:
1. Do not harden your heart.
Hebrews 3:7-8 (NLT) “That is why the Holy Spirit says, “Today you must listen to his voice. Don’t harden your hearts against him as Israel did when they rebelled when they tested God’s patience in the wilderness.”
Hardening your heart will impede your hearing His voice. As God speaks to you through the pages of Scripture, you must not hesitate to receive His Word with gladness and obey His voice. Do not harden your heart.
2. Listen to inspirational messages and take advice.
Proverbs 15:31-32 (CEB) “The ear that listens to life-giving correction
dwells among the wise. Those who refuse discipline despise themselves, but those who listen to correction gain understanding.”
Receive divine wisdom and counsel for life by listening to inspirational messages if you want to hear His voice. Life-giving corrections, as stated in the scripture above, make us dwell among the wise hence, the need to attend to the preached Word of God.
3. Read the Bible every day.
Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
If you want to know what God is saying about your life, then you must read the Bible every day. As you do so, God’s voice will be registered in your heart and you will be acquainted with His voice and Word. As a result, you will know when God speaks to your heart and your steps will be steadily guided by the Lord.
Precious one, if you want to hear His voice then do not harden your heart, listen to inspirational messages and take advice. In addition to this, read the Bible every day.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I yield my heart and mind to hearing the voice of Your Word daily, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Discipline Yourself Not To Worry

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 156 (05/06/2022)
Luke 12:22-23 (NKJV) “Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.”
In the opening scripture, Jesus taught His disciples to see life as being valuable, precious and important to them. So He admonished them not to worry about the needs of life. Worrying steals your joy and happiness; it depletes your spiritual and physical strength, and destroys your faith and trust in God.
Everyone has the natural tendency to worry; some even can be so worried and yet not know why they’re worried. And that’s why we must all be disciplined not to allow worry to overtake us, because God’s help and provision is released by faith, not worry.
Here are three ways to discipline yourself not to worry about life:
1. Rejoice in your problems.
Romans 5:3 (ASV) “And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh steadfastness;”
Deliberately rejoice in the Lord while experiencing problems. See your problems as an opportunity to move forward in life. In view of this, you must rejoice in them, like Apostle Paul, knowing that God will definitely come through for you. This will keep you from worrying too much.
2. Don’t compare yourself to others.
2 Corinthians 10:12 (NIV) “We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise.”
God uniquely created mankind with each person having unique talents and assignments. Discover what you can do and do well in life and avoid comparing yourself to others. This will help to not worry about your life.
3. Learn to be content with what you have.
Philippians 4:11 “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.”
Learning to be content with what you have is very important in disciplining yourself from being worried. Besides, you must see the little you have in life as an opportunity to maximise and grow your potentials, so learn to be content with what you have while you press on for greater heights.
Precious one, if you want to discipline yourself not to worry about life, then learn to rejoice in adversities, don’t compare yourself to others and learn to be content with what you have.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, let every burden fueling my worries in life be lifted and removed, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You can Also Succeed

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 156 (04/06/2022)
Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
John D. Rockefeller, Jr. once said, “The secret of success is to do the common things uncommonly well.” Success doesn’t occur in a vacuum, we must set out to achieve it. Here are three things to do to succeed in life.
1. Have a healthy self-image
A healthy self-image is necessary for achieving success. Jesus Christ, the precious Son of God shed his blood for equally precious and valuable people. To be successful you will have to accept and wholly admit this fact. “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature old things have passed away behold all things have become new.” (1 Corinthians 5:17)
2. Discover your gift and develop it
Every human being has a unique and peculiar gift of function according to the ability God gives. Success in life only comes when you identify your peculiar gift, develop it and use it to serve your world.
3. Learn to be a planner
Proverbs 24:3-4, “Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”
God is a planner; He created everything for the comfort of man before He created man. To establish a nation He planned and found Abraham and used Abraham’s descendants to form the nation Israel. God never plans His purposes as He goes along. We too need to plan before we set to build in life.
Precious one, It is the will of God, His plan and purpose that every individual succeeds in life. Having a healthy self-image, discovering your gift and developing it , and planning will help you walk in success.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me apply the above to walk in success in Jesus’ name.Amen.

Build Others Up

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 155 (03/06/2022)
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV) “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing”
Many people suffer upheavals, strife and go through one pain or the other due to the pressures of life and as believers, it is one of our primary responsibilities to encourage and build them up. The Holy Spirit through Apostle Paul tells us in Hebrews 3:13 (NKJV), “ but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.” Here are three things to know about building others up:
  1. Building others up avoids hardened hearts and rebellion
The Bible tells us in Hebrews 3:13 “But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.” As believers, there is a tendency to become hardened at heart and less sensitive in our minds but the duty of building others up and mutual exhortation keeps our consciences less tender. This helps us to always listen to the commands of God.
  1. Building others up reminds us of our victory in Christ
It is so important to God that we build others up because many experience discouragements and eventually throw in the towel. God wants to use us to reassure others of His love and remind them of the victory He has won for us. Apostle John in John 16:33 tells us, “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.”
  1. Building others up helps restore hope
Building others up is the spur that gives us hope when we are at our lowest. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV) “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing” At our lowest, we receive hope again when there’s someone who can empower us with encouragement which motivates us to hang in there until we see the light.
Precious one, everyone deserves love and encouragement, therefore, make it a point to build one another up daily.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, show us daily how to spread Your love through building others up in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Fix Your Attention On Prayer

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 153 (02/06/2022)
Acts 2:42 (BBE) “And they kept their attention fixed on the Apostles’ teaching and were united together in the taking of broken bread and in prayer.”
The disciples of old had an exceptional understanding regarding the things of God and most especially prayer. Anytime there was a problem, they came together in prayer and received amazing results.
We must have more understanding regarding the things of God so that the glory of the latter house will be greater than the former. Unfortunately, when issues crop up in our lives, we fix our attention on other things other than on prayer. We must change our paradigm about prayer by fixing our attention more and more on it. This will certainly produce unprecedented results for us if we do.
Here are three things to accomplish through prayer:
1. Open up your heavens.
Luke 3:21 “Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,”
Prayer exerts supernatural power which unlocks keys to victory and opened heavens. Closed heavens in the life of a believer causes depression, confusion, sadness and missed opportunities. But with prayer, one can break through all these, leaving them in the past and charting a new course for the future.
2. Receive supply of your daily bread.
Matthew 6:11 “Give us this day our daily bread.”
Daily bread represents food and all basic needs. And Jesus directed us to ask for the supply of our daily bread in prayer. When Jesus gave thanks over the five loaves of bread and two fishes, it provided more than enough food for over five thousand people. This was a supernatural act of God to meet natural needs. Pray to God and He will surely provide for you.
3. Provoke restoration.
Zechariah 10:6 (NIV) “I will strengthen Judah and save the tribes of Joseph. I will restore them because I have compassion on them. They will be as though I had not rejected them, for I am the LORD their God and I will answer them.”
Restoration is not automatic. It comes by prayer. It doesn’t matter what you have lost or missed, or what has been stolen from you. It can be as precious as gold, if prayer is offered, God will surely bring a restoration because He is a God of compassion.
Precious one, be sharp and alert to pray because it will open your heavens, provide your daily bread and bring you restoration in life.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I bind demonic forces holding me back from fixing my attention on God in prayer, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 152 (01/062022)
Psalm 112:7-8 “He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he sees his desire upon his enemies.”
Being afraid of situations of adversity is a natural human thing. It is not uncommon for people to be apprehensive when they hear of bad and unfortunate things happening all around them. You may be hearing of terrible news on the media, or you may know someone close to you who has suffered an unfortunate fate, but the Lord tells us to not let our hearts be troubled.
Bad news, disappointments, negative occurrences—when these things come your way, they should not move you. Your heart should be fixed and firmly established in the Lord your God. Guard your heart with all diligence and let not your heart be troubled.
Here are three things to do to keep your heart from being troubled:
1. Believe in Jesus.
John 14:1 says, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.”
One time, the disciples of Jesus were worried because they thought they had gotten themselves into a bad situation. And when Jesus realised that, He said to them, “You should trust me more than you do.” (Matthew 16:6-8 EASY). Jesus is saying the same thing to you today. He is more than your Saviour. Whatever your situation is, let not your heart be troubled; believe in Jesus more by investing time into building your faith in Him through His Word.
2. Let the peace of God rule your heart.
John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Jesus has given us a gift of peace—it is a counter-force against the overwhelming power that adversities can have over our hearts. However, we must actively use it; we must release it by confessing and declaring peace over our hearts to stop it from being troubled and worried. Don’t give power to people and circumstances to control your heart. Regulate your own heart with the peace of Christ.
3. Cast all your cares upon God.
Psalm 55:22 says, “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”
Instead of focusing on the problems you are facing and being overwhelmed by them, roll them up into a bold and confident prayer and present it to the Mighty and Everlasting Father and He will sustain you. God will not allow you to be swallowed up by your troubles. He is your present help in trouble.
Precious one, in the midst of uncertainty, pressure and difficulty, let not your heart be troubled. Firmly trust in Jesus, let His peace rule in your heart and go to God in prayer as you roll all your cares upon Him for He cares for you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I cast all my cares, concerns, problems and all of my daily living upon You. I know and trust that everything will work out for my good, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Develop Self-Control

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 151 (31/05/2022)
Proverbs 25:28 (NLT) “A person without self-control is as defenceless as a city with broken-down walls.”
Self-control is a sure fruit for every child of God to possess. Without self-control, the Bible describes a person as a city with broken-down walls. Having broken-down walls means anyone and anything at all can have access to your life to control or redirect your actions, thoughts, character and ultimately, your destiny.
God expects us to be people with self-control. Our world is full of enmity and things which prevent us from walking the right paths in life. Through it all, it is incumbent on us to be people with self-control regardless.
Here are three ways to be a person with self-control:
1. Learn to be watchful.
2 John 1:8 (NIV) “Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.”
When you are not watchful and alert in life, you can lose what you have worked for as the scripture above says. For instance, failure to be watchful and disciplined to do what is right concerning your children, your work or your ministry, can make you lose them.
2. Be determined to pray.
1 Peter 4:7 (ESV) “The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.”
If we want to exercise self-control hello, especially in prayer, then we must be very determined. Though our minds may be occupied with worries and fear and other distractions, we must still have the tenacity to press on in prayer. This is a sure way of being a person with self-control.
3. Make a covenant with yourself.
Job 31:1 “I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?”
Purpose in your heart that no matter what happens, you will keep to a set of valued principles. As we do our part to live right for God, He will in turn fortify us to overcome the lust of the world.
Precious one, if you want to be a person with self-control, then learn to be watchful, be determined and also, make a covenant with yourself to do right.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I make a covenant with you, help me to be a person of great self-control, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Strive for Excellence

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 150  (30/05/2022)
Ecclesiastes 9:10 “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.”
When God gives us an assignment, He expects us to trust Him to help us but He also expects us to do our possible best in order to yield excellence. If God were a modern-day employer, many of us would probably describe Him as a highly demanding boss because He would require us to always present only our very best and nothing less.
Here are three areas of life we must strive to excel:
  1. In your walk with Christ
Ask yourself what remarkable changes can be seen in your life since you became born again. Answering this question will enable you to identify in which areas you fall short and help you become more results-oriented. Apostle Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 4:7 (EASY), “I have worked to serve Christ well. I have finished everything that God wanted me to do. I am like a runner who has run to the end of the race. I have continued to believe God’s true message.” Strive to be like Apostle Paul and do your utmost best in the Christian race you are running.
  1. In your professional work
The Bible tells us in Colossians 3:23 (EASY), “Whatever things you are doing, do them well. Remember that you are serving the Lord. You are not only serving people.” It is always important to do heartily and give your utmost best in whatever you do. Like I have always said, as a professional, you should strive to be among the top 10% in whatever field you are in.
  1. In your relationship with others
The Bible admonishes us in Romans 12:18 (NKJV), “If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.” How are you working to achieve this? Are people grateful for your life? Are you a positive influence on the people around you? Do you do your part in adding value to the lives around you, or do you always look for what you can get out of them? Do others have a good opinion of you? We need to do our best to affect the lives of people through our relationship with them.
Precious one, in whatever you do, strive for excellence. Do your best to become the best in your profession, ministry and social life, and God will take care of the rest.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I depend solely on You and strive to become the best, let Your expectation be accomplished in me for Your glory, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Grow In Knowledge

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 149 (29/05/2022)
2 Peter 3:18 “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.”
Growth brings glory to God, hence the need to grow in life. In the opening scripture, the Bible admonishes us to grow in knowledge. Growing in knowledge is the responsibility and duty of the believer to pursue.
Whichever field you find yourself in—whether in ministry, your own business, a medical practitioner, or a teacher—just ensure you always grow in knowledge because it will enable you to excel and become more productive.
Here are three ways to facilitate your growth in knowledge:
1. Start from the basics.
1 Peter 2:2 (NLT) “You must crave pure spiritual milk so that you can grow into the fullness of your salvation. Cry out for this nourishment as a baby cries for milk,”
Life is systematic, and so also the things which make up life. For a baby to grow, it must start feeding on breast milk. In the same way, we must start from the basics in order to grow in knowledge. In whichever field, you must be submissive and willing to start from scratch and having done that faithfully, you will have a good foundation to grow more in knowledge.
2. Pray.
Philippians 1:9 (NIV) “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,”
Prayer is a facilitator of growth in knowledge. It’s one of the keys used to unlock the mysteries about one’s life. Through prayer, we can grow in knowledge by the impartations and revelations of God’s spirit of knowledge for any area of life. Apostle Paul saw the potency of how prayer can help a person grow in knowledge, thus, his need to pray for the Philippian Church.
3. Avoid being lazy.
Hebrews 5:11 (CEB) “We have a lot to say about this topic, and it’s difficult to explain because you have been lazy and you haven’t been listening.”
Laziness in learning is what has rendered most people ineffective and powerless to climb up to the top. In this scripture, it’s clear that the writer had difficulties explaining God’s Word to them because they were lazy and slow to learn. If you want to grow in knowledge, become very studious. Read books and listen to experts and knowledgeable people and you will also know what they know.
Precious one, to grow in knowledge, you must start from the basics, pray to grow in knowledge and avoid being lazy.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask for and receive the Spirit of knowledge to help me grow in knowledge regarding my family, work, ministry and life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Never Lose Your Focus

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 28 (28/05/2022)
Matthew 24:13 (NLT) “But those who endure to the end will be saved.”
Our ability to focus till the end guarantees victory and assures us of great salvation. The opening scripture says “But those who endure to the end will be saved.” This scripture informs us about the need to focus in life.
According to Crystal McDowell “Instead of thinking about how hard the test is, we can instead focus on asking the Lord to enlarge our understanding.” Understanding the need to maintain focus in life is very key to our Christian growth. However, not many have been able to maintain their focus in life, hence losing what is due them in life.
Here are three things to do in order to maintain your focus:
1. Think right or positive.
Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: ….”
It is said that what consumes your mind controls your life. We must think right and think positive in order to maintain our focus in life. Whatever we think, that is what we become. Think about the good and positive sides of life to maintain your focus.
2. Don’t be far from God
Matthew 15:8 (CEB) “This people honours me with their lips, but their hearts are far away from me.”
God expects us to act on our confessions in Him. We must not be far from Him by the way we act contrary to our beliefs in God. This will surely cause us to lose focus but as we act in consonance with His Word, we will not be far from Him and that is maintaining our focus on God.
3. Don’t be double-minded.
James 1:7-8 (NKJV) “For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
Being a double-minded person will cause you to lose focus, thereby affecting your ability to receive from God. Don’t be double-minded in life so you don’t lose your focus.
Precious one, think right or positive, don’t be far from God and don’t be double-minded so you don’t lose your focus in life.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I set my gaze on You, help me not to lose my focus, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be an Effective Ambassador of Christ

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 147 (27/05/2022)
2 Corinthians 5:20 (AMPC) “So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.”
Apostle Paul considered himself an ambassador of Christ because he proclaimed the gospel and urged sinners to receive the reconciliation effected at Calvary. Through today’s reading, he is reminding us of our ambassadorial status. An ambassador is an authorized official of a nation or ruler who speaks not in his own name but on behalf of the nation or ruler whose representative he is, and his responsibility is to execute that nation’s desires faithfully to those to whom he is sent.
When Jesus rose from the dead, He commissioned us ambassadors (John 20:21), He mandated us to carry out His work here on Earth and we must endeavour to be effective ambassadors here on earth.
Here are three things we must do to be effective ambassadors of Christ:
  1. Intercede for others
“And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor…” (Isaiah 59:16). God is looking for intercessors who will stand in the gap and pray for the people to whom they have been sent. Do want to be called an effective ambassador of Christ? Then rise up and intercede for others.
  1. Remain active in spreading the gospel
As God’s ambassadors, we have been “approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel” (1 Thessalonians 2:4, NIV). Evangelism is not reserved for leaders in the church; each of us has a responsibility to glorify God by bringing the good news of salvation to others.
  1. Live as representatives of God’s Kingdom
“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence” (John 18:36). As ambassadors of Christ, and therefore of heaven, we must live like people who are not of the earth, free from the entanglements of sin and all appearance of evil. Because we represent Him, we need to walk righteously.
Precious one, take your place and go out into the world, fully conscious that you have been appointed an ambassador of Christ, created in Christ Jesus to do good works!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, use me as an effective ambassador of Christ, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Increase Your Faith

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 146 (26/05/2022)
Luke 17:5 “And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.”
The apostles of Jesus saw the need for them to grow or increase in faith; so they asked Jesus to increase their faith. As a matter of fact, any living thing that is not growing is dying. Since faith is an integral part of our Christian life—for the just shall live by faith—for it to remain effective, our faith must ever be growing.
Furthermore, the devil is always seeking to snatch and destroy our faith in God. So we must also increase in faith in order to get the needed stability to withstand the attacks of the enemy.
Here are three ways to increase your faith in God:
1. Rejoice in your weaknesses.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (CEB) “He said to me, “My grace is enough for you because power is made perfect in weakness.” So I’ll gladly spend my time bragging about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power can rest on me.”
Do not let your weaknesses overwhelm and overcome you but rather rejoice in them knowing and expecting that God’s power will manifest and rest on you in time of weakness.
2. Keep hearing God’s Word.
Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Never go a day without listening to God’s Word. This is necessary to increase your faith in God. His Word is food to your soul and spirit, so failure to feed yourself will weaken you and destroy your faith. Therefore, feed on God’s Word daily to increase your faith.
3. Hold on to the confession of your hope without wavering.
Hebrews 10:23 (CEB) “Let’s hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, because the one who made the promises is reliable.”
There is the need to hold on to the confession of your faith in God without wavering. You should have the confident assurance that God has the power to fulfil His Word while you keep confessing the Word till you see the manifestations thereof.
Precious one, in order to increase your faith in God, rejoice in your weaknesses, keep listening to God’s Word daily and keep making your faith confessions without wavering.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I submit to Your Word, help me increase my faith in You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Enjoying Favour, Guidance and Health

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 145 (25/05/2022)
Deuteronomy 29:9 (AMPC) “Therefore keep the words of this covenant and do them, that you may deal wisely and prosper in all that you do.”
God’s Word has given us the provision of a blessed and fulfilled life. What we need to succeed in life is revealed in the “words of this covenant” as recorded in Scripture. We do not need to live a life of trial and error, if only we seek His Word about life.
Three important things we need to do well in life are favour, guidance and good health. And the words of God’s covenant reveal how we can have and enjoy them.
Here are three things to do to enjoy favour, guidance and health:
  1. Show mercy and be truthful.
Proverbs 3:3-4 “Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.”
The Bible says that blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Show kindness to people, then you shall also obtain favour before God and men. Another kind of kindness to give to people is truthfulness and honesty. Be faithful and reliable and this will earn you a good name of favour.
  1. Trust and acknowledge the Lord.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
God guides the meek. Those who turn away from themselves and seek God’s help will receive divine direction and guidance. If you want to succeed in your endeavours, learn to acknowledge God first in your plans.
  1. Don’t try to be smart by wrongdoing.
Proverbs 3:7-8 “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.”
Divine health and long life are only promised to those who depart from evil and walk in the fear of the Lord. Do not take advantage of people through dubious means and think you are being smart; you will cut your life short.
Precious one, obey and walk according to God’s conditions to activate favour, guidance and divine health so that you can enjoy a divinely facilitated life.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive grace and wisdom to walk according to the words of Your covenant so that I may prosper in all that I do, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Stand in Endurance

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 144 (24/05/2022)
James 1:4 (AMP), “And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.”
There will be challenges in life because we live in a fractured creation full of sin and corruption. And a careful study of the Bible affirms that this world is not a walk in the park. In spite of this, we must be sure to always remember that we are not alone so, we must at all times be willing to endure to the end.
Our Lord Jesus Christ tells us that it is the one who endures to the end that shall be saved. Here are three reasons to endure to the end:
  1. Endurance makes us perfect and complete, needing nothing
The Bible says in James 1:4 (AMP), “And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.” As believers, we must let endurance have its full effect, so that we may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
  1. The believer’s victory is guaranteed by Christ
Jesus tells us in John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Because Jesus has already overcome the world, we are assured of victory in this world of tribulation, and therefore, we must endure to the end.
  1. Through endurance, we shall gain life
Our Lord Jesus tells us in Luke 21:19 (ESV), “By your endurance, you will gain your lives.” If we fail to endure to the end, our faith will have been meaningless. But if we patiently go through the challenges of life and overcome them, we shall finally inherit life.
Precious one, no matter how many difficulties we may go through, let us hold on to hope and never give up, for our end will be better and greater.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, in the midst of everything, give me the strength to endure and come out victorious in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Fulfil Divine Expectations in Your Job

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 143 (23/05/2022)
Daniel 6:4 (NLT) “Then the other administrators and high officers began searching for some fault in the way Daniel was handling government affairs, but they couldn’t find anything to criticize or condemn. He was faithful, always responsible, and completely trustworthy.”
Daniel was a servant of God who worked with unbelievers under a heathen government. He worked in a sensitive political office where accusations of wrongdoing could easily have been brought against him, and yet he was faultless and blameless because he worked with an excellent spirit.
Similarly, we must also work in such a manner in a good representation of our Lord and Saviour. We must do what our heavenly Master expects of us in our jobs.
Here are three things the Lord expects from us in our jobs:
  1. Obey your boss or employer.
“Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ.” – Ephesians 6:5 (NLT)
If Christian slaves were commanded to obey their possibly oppressive masters regarding their chores or tasks, much more should workers who are in contract with their employers obey their employers and supervisors regarding the work they are paid to do.
  1. Do not just obey, but serve with sincerity.
“Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. As slaves of Christ, do the will of God with all your heart.” – Ephesians 6:6 (NLT)
The Lord who sees and judges the hearts of men does not just seek your outward obedience but your obedience must be backed by a sincere and honest heart. A sincere and honest person will still do his work well, whether or not supervised, acknowledged or praised.
  1. Work with enthusiasm.
“Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” – Ephesians 6:7 (NLT)
Again the Lord wants enthusiasm from His people as they work because He loves the attitude of joy and cheerfulness in all we do. And this can only be possible if we work as though working for the Lord rather than for people.
Precious one, remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do in our work, therefore, work with obedience, sincerity and enthusiasm.
Ephesians 6:5-8 NLT
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I renew my mind with Your Word and I choose to be more committed in my job with sincerity and cheerfulness, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Keep Your Joy Up

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 142 (22/05/2022)
John 16:22 (NKJV) “Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.”
Charles Spurgeon once said, “There is a marvellous medicinal power in joy. Most medicines are distasteful; but this, which is the best of all medicines, is sweet to the taste, and comforting to the heart.”
The Bible says that the joy of the Lord is our strength. And so if we lose our joy, we lose strength, and when we lose strength, we cannot resist the devil; and so the devil will not flee, and if the devil doesn’t flee, we cannot win in life. This is why we have to keep our joy up.
Here are three ways to keep your joy up:
  1. Be filled with the Word of God.
John 15:11 (NKJV) says, “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”
Jesus spoke the words of His Father to the disciples so that they would be filled with joy to the fullest. If we are not richly filled with the Word of God, we will be lacking in true joy. And if your joy is low, it will show in times of difficulty.
  1. Bear fruit in prayer.
John 16:24 (NLT) says, “You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.”
Our Christian life becomes more exciting when we begin to receive answers to our prayers. A person who never receives answers to prayer will be frustrated. This means that for us to bear more fruit in prayer, we have got to learn to walk by faith in the name of Jesus.
  1. Always think good thoughts.
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true… honest…just…pure…lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” – Philippians 4:8
Never mind the problem but always think good thoughts according to the promises of God. We can never experience joy when our minds are brooding on discouraging and negative thoughts. Take control of your mind and think joyful thoughts.
Precious one, the joy of the Lord is your strength. So keep your joy up by being filled with the Word, by receiving answers to prayer and by thinking joyful thoughts always.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You that my heart is continually overflowing with joy through Your Word, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Remember These Things

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 141 (21/05/2022)
2 Peter 1:12 “Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.”
There are people who keep moving around seeking something new—some new revelation, new prophecy or new spiritual direction. They never want to hear what they have heard before. Such people are susceptible to lies and deceptions.
However, the Bible emphasises the importance of being put in remembrance of things we have heard before because it is easy to forget, and when we forget, we depart from the wisdom of those words and lose their benefits. Repeated teachings, therefore, establish us in the truth.
Here are three things good to remember:
  1. Remember to stir up the Holy Spirit in you.
“Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.” – 2 Timothy 1:6
Apostle Paul reminded his spiritual son to keep the Spirit of God, which he had received, stirred up. In other words, we are responsible for continually staying under the activated influence of the Holy Spirit in order to walk in boldness, power, love and soundness of mind.
  1. Remember the signs of the last days.
“If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.” – 1 Timothy 4:6
Paul instructed Timothy to put the believers in remembrance of the signs of latter times; how that many shall depart from the faith and begin to listen to seducing spirits and devilish teachings. We must also be watchful to take heed and to hold on to sound teachings of the Word of God so we don’t also depart from the faith.
  1. Remember that Jesus is coming again.
“This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance” – 2 Peter 3:1
Apostle Peter proceeded to remind the Church “that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again?”
2 Peter 3:3-4 (NLT). Let us not lose sight of our Master’s return, otherwise, we will fail to prepare and fail to properly execute our assignments.
Precious one, do not forget to stir up the Spirit of God in your life, don’t forget the signs of these last days and above all, don’t forget that Jesus is coming back again.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive grace to keep myself reminded of these truths, as we await the return of the Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Avoid Curses Through Financial Dealings

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 140 (20/05/2022)
1 Samuel 3:13 ASV “For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever, for the iniquity which he knew, because his sons did bring a curse upon themselves, and he restrained them not.”
There are curses we can bring upon ourselves through our own actions, particularly through our financial dealings. The way we use or deal with money can either provoke a blessing or curse, thus, we must be especially careful to avoid curses that arise through financial dealings.
The Bible says the sons of Eli brought a curse upon themselves because “the sin of the young men was very great in the sight of the Lord, for the men treated the offering of the Lord with contempt.” (1 Samuel 2:17 ESV).
Here are three ways to avoid curses through your financial dealings:
  1. Do not collect money fraudulently.
“So Gehazi followed after Naaman…And he said…My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.” – 2 Kings 5:21-22
When Gehazi lied in the name of his master to collect some wealth, the curse of Naaman’s leprosy came upon him. If you use wicked and fraudulent ways of getting money, you will attract a curse that will follow you wherever you go.
  1. Do not steal from God.
“Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.” – Malachi 3:9
If you cannot trust God to bring Him the tithe, you have robbed Him and you are telling God that you have chosen to take care of yourself because He cannot take care of you. This disconnects you from His blessing and makes you operate under the world’s cursed system. People who also steal offerings and thieves who break into churches are also attracting curses upon themselves.
  1. Do not use money dishonestly.
“The wicked borrow and never repay, but the godly are generous givers.” – Psalms 37:21 (NLT)
Avoid the following to prevent attracting curses: squandering money you are keeping for others, borrowing and not repaying, buying items with an inflated receipt, evading taxes, gambling etc. Dishonestly using money will cause curses to follow you and you want to avoid that.
Precious one, what is the point of having money or using it and attracting a curse. The true worth of money is when it is a blessing to you. Therefore, avoid such curses.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive wisdom and grace to gather and use money in righteousness, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Remember to be Grateful

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 139 (19/05/2022)
Psalm 103:2 “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits”
Someone said, “Gratitude will shift you to a higher frequency, and you will attract much better things.”
Forgetfulness can rob us of greater blessings and opportunities in life. And so the Bible tells us to remember to be grateful to God for his blessings.
Similarly, we must show gratitude to people who have been a blessing to us. Many people have unfairly mistreated certain important people in their lives because someway somehow they forgot the help and elevation they received from such people.
Here are three things to consider to continue to walk in gratefulness:
  1. Remember those who helped you.
“Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus” – Romans 16:3
At every point in our lives, God brings people to help us. These people are special instruments of God for our blessing and must be loved and appreciated as much as possible. Those who forget their helpers can easily speak badly of them and do evil against them.
  1. Remember your pastor.
“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” – Hebrews 13:17
If you forget your pastor who watches over your soul, you are in a way forgetting God. Your pastor is part of the mysteries of divine arrangement for your life. Therefore, remember to obey them as they instruct and guide you in the Word of God. Remember to bless them also with your financial and material substance.
  1. Remember where God brought you from.
“Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God…(and)…thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the Lord thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage” – Deuteronomy 8:11, 14
Many of us were brought from nowhere and given a place of prominence in life by the grace of God. At this point, there is the temptation to forget where God took you from and to think that your achievement is by your own smartness. Remember God lest He resist you in your pride.
Precious one, remember that a grateful person attracts more favour; therefore, remember those who have helped you, remember your pastor and remember with gratitude where God has brought you from.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for all the people You have used to be a blessing to me; I ask that You bless and increase them, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Renew Yourself in Knowledge

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 138 (18/05/2022)
Colossians 3:10 (NIV) “and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.”
The opening scripture says that as believers, we have received a new self or new life which is in the image of its Creator, that is God. However, this new self must be renewed with the knowledge of God in order to reflect His image. Just like you would clean (or renew) a dusty mirror in order to have a clear reflection of yourself. Therefore, to be able to exhibit and manifest the full glories of this new life in Christ, we must commit to the process of renewing ourselves in the knowledge of God.
Here are three different levels of renewing yourself in knowledge:
1. Read the Scriptures.
“Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.” – 1 Timothy 4:13
Believers must give regular attendance to Bible readings. Reading acquaints us with general knowledge of the Scriptures. It also helps to remind and refresh us of things we have heard or been taught before so that those things don’t slip away from us. Read the Word to feed your spirit and to build faith in you.
  1. Study the Scriptures.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” – 2 Timothy 2:15
Studying the Scriptures takes you closer to having a more complete understanding of any particular truth. As you study, you are exposed to the different dimensions of truth or topic, thereby increasing your knowledge and insight into it. This gives you the ability to teach others that truth comprehensively.
  1. Meditate on the Word of God.
“I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.” – Psalm 119:15-16
Meditation is the process of becoming one with the Word of God. Meditation is where a person begins to embrace truth in his mind and heart. This is where what you have read or studied becomes personal to you, such that you begin to live and use that truth.
Precious one, renew yourself in the knowledge of the Lord by reading, studying and meditating on the Scriptures regularly.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I renew myself in Your Word, let me be refreshed and let me reflect Your image at all times, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Don’t Conform to the World

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 137 (17/05/2022)
Romans 12:2 (NKJV) “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Jesus maintained a strong testimony about Himself: “I am not of this world. I am from above.” (John 8:23) This also is our testimony as His disciples and so we must renew our minds in order not to conform to this world. We must stand out in the world as reflections of Jesus Christ. As Christians, we are called to be set apart, not to be one with the world.
Here are three ways we must be different from the world:
  1. Stand out in your speech.
The Bible says in Colossians 4:6 (ESV), “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person”.
As Christians, we must stand out in our speech. The language and speech of this world are corrupted. It is filled with negativity, fear, grumbling and complaining, gossiping and doubt. As believers, we must sound like Jesus and fill our speech with hope, faith and love so that when people hear us they will be strengthened, comforted and encouraged.
  1. Don’t use the standard of the world.
Proverbs 23:17 (NKJV) says, “Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day”
The system of the world has been rigged by the enemy in such a way that worldly success comes from crookedness, corruption and other evil ways. You must not conform to the world and compromise your beliefs to succeed in life. We must do our dealings in the fear of the Lord always and we shall be blessed with durable success.
  1. Don’t have negative expectations.
The Bible says “For surely there is a hereafter, And your hope will not be cut off.” – Proverbs 23:18 (NKJV)
We must not allow all the negative reports happening around us to define our expectations. We are not subject to the adverse trend of the times. However, what we expect is what we will get. Therefore, have positive expectations day in, and day out such as healing, breakthroughs, deliverance, good health, unceasing provision, protection, peace, and happiness.
Precious one, as you go about your life each day, don’t conform to the world but live by the standards of Christ.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to make the necessary adjustments in my life according to Your Word in order to stand out in these times, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Help the Needy

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 136 (16/05/2022)
Galatians 2:9-10 (EASY) “James, Peter and John, understood that God had given this special job to me…They agreed that we should teach God’s message to the Gentiles…They only asked us to do this: We should remember to help the poor people among their group. That is something that I myself wanted very much to do.”
There are many people who need God’s help and are believing in God to meet their spiritual and physical needs. On the other hand, God has also responded by sending His Word to His people to go and represent Him, and to act on His behalf by blessing the needy.
Many people will be stuck in their predicament if we refuse to obey. Let us not let disobedience cause someone to continue to suffer. Obey to help someone now.
Here are three things to note about helping others:
1. Have compassion for the underprivileged.
Isaiah 58:10 “And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday”
Without compassion for the needy, we will not be moved to help them. There are people who are really suffering in life. It is vividly expressed in the way they talk and live. We must show compassion and go to their aid, and the Lord will also bless us openly.
  1. Share your resources with the poor.
Deuteronomy 15:11 (NLT) “There will always be some among you who are poor. That is why I am commanding you to share your resources freely with the poor and with other Israelites in need.”
In every society, there are people disadvantaged and in need. So are there also among church people. The Lord expects us to use our resources to help them unconditionally. The government cannot help every individual but you can help somebody.
3. Give freely because you have received freely.
Matthew 10:8 “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”
Whatever we have, in terms of our jobs, money and resources, is a blessing from God. God commands us to also give freely, willingly and cheerfully to bless those in need. We must do this as we carry the gospel to them in demonstration of the love of God.
Precious one, be obedient to help others by freely and compassionately blessing the needy with your resources; and the Lord will also repay you big time.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I choose to be a channel of Your help and saving power, make me a blessing to others, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Serve the Lord Acceptably

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 135 (15/05/2022)
Romans 14:17-18 “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.”
Charles H. Spurgeon said, “Serve God by doing common actions in a heavenly spirit”. This is a reflection of the opening scripture that shows us what service in the kingdom of God is all about. Serving in the kingdom must be with heavenly attitudes empowered by the Holy Spirit. And as we serve in such a manner, we are accepted of the Lord and even approved of men.
Here are three heavenly attitudes to serve God with:
  1. Serve with righteousness.
“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” – Romans 14:17
Serving in righteousness means that serve the Lord knowing that you have a right standing before God because He has made you worthy by the blood of Jesus so that you don’t feel inferior or unqualified to serve in His house. It also means serving the Lord in the right way as you are taught according to the Word of God.
  1. Serve with peace.
“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace…in the Holy Ghost.” – Romans 14:17
Serving the Lord involves serving with other people in the Lord’s house or vineyard, as such, live and work peaceably with all who are in the household of God. Additionally, we are instructed to live peaceably with all other people to the best of our abilities. Hold no grudges and bitterness against people.
  1. Serve with joy.
“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” – Romans 14:17
We must also serve with joy to be acceptable before God. The Bible says that God loves a cheerful giver. This is because joy is one of the ‘secret ingredients that makes what we offer to God well-pleasing in His sight. So we must develop that attitude of joy all the time.
Precious one, note that as you serve in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit your service to the Lord will be acceptable to Him and even to men.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive more grace to serve the Lord in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Preserve Your Christian Faith

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 134 (14/05/2022)
Acts 2:40 “And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.”
The Easy Bible renders the latter part of the opening scripture as “Peter…told them to be careful and he said, ‘People who are alive today do not do what is right. Save yourselves from the punishment that God will send on them.’
That was in Apostle Peter’s days but now people do much worse now because it is written that iniquity shall abound in the last days. We as Christians must therefore protect ourselves from being negatively affected by the corruption, perversions and injustices in this generation.
Here are three ways to keep from being negatively affected by the world:
  1. Continue in doctrine and fellowship
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:40 42
The early Church kept themselves by steadfastly obeying the teachings of the Apostles and fellowshipping together. We must be consistent at church fellowships and receive the teachings of Scripture more seriously than many do. This will cause our light to shine in this world of darkness instead of becoming part of its problems.
  1. We must break bread with fellow believers.
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:40 42
When there is merriment and food happening, it means people are comfortable with one another and trust each other. Believers must fellowship more with fellow believers through the ‘breaking of bread’ to strengthen the bond and trust among them, instead of trying to find that kind of trust in the wrong place.
  1. We must continue in prayers.
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” – Acts 2:40 42
Continuing in prayers is crucial for the health of every believer’s Christian faith. If we are going to remain fervent in spirit, serving the Lord, then we must be constant at church prayer services because in prayer, the fire of the Spirit will purify us from the contaminations of the world and preserve us for the Lord.
Precious one, let us continue in the teachings of the Word and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread and in prayers to preserve our Christian faith.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, revive me in Your Word, and in fellowship and prayers, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Do Not Lose Hope

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 133 (13/05/2022)
John 16:33 (NLT) “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
Undoubtedly, the world is experiencing difficult times, and each nation may be going through tough and hard economic crises in varying degrees. This will cause many to easily despair and lose hope.
But thank God that the Lord is our Shepherd, the Lord is the strength of our lives, the Lord is our refuge and fortress, the Lord is our shield and provider in the midst of the valleys. If these are true about our God, then we must not lose hope.
Here are three things to do in order not to lose hope:
  1. Rejoice in the Lord.
The Lord’s instructions for our victory are so simple and yet they can be challenging to do in the midst of difficulty. The prophet Habakkuk said, “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines…Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high place” (Habakkuk 3:17-19)
  1. Choose God’s blessing.
“…I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live” – Deuteronomy 30:19
No matter what happens around you, it is what you choose for your life that will affect you. Your destiny and blessing is not with any man or government. God has set before us life and blessing and that supersedes the crisis around you. Choose it and declare it.
  1. Don’t conform to the confessions of those without hope.
“When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up, and he shall save the humble person.” – Job 22:29
It is easy and comforting to talk about how bad things are with other people. It is true things are difficult, however, God can only help and save you from the hardships if you are humble enough to make a different confession when others are cast down. You can acknowledge the situation but promote God’s promises even more.
Precious one, don’t despair, don’t lose hope because the Lord is your shield against all trials and sorrows. Rejoice in His saving power and you shall not be disappointed.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I choose life and blessing for me and my family over every economic crisis, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let Us Practice Good Manners

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare

Day 132 (12/05/2022)

Leviticus 20:23 (CEB) “You must not follow the practices of the nations that I am throwing out before you, because they did all these things and I was disgusted with them.”

God has always been mindful of the way of life of His people and their practices. God didn’t want the Israelites to follow the practices of the nations He was overthrowing because their practices were disgusting in His sight.

How we conduct ourselves in society can make people respect us or feel so disgusted with us. And so as good representatives of Christ, we must practice good manners wherever we find ourselves, and we must also pass it on to the growing generation so that basic decency is not lost entirely from our society in future generations.

Here are three ways to practice good manners:

1. Respect the elderly.
Leviticus 19:32 (CEB) “You must rise in the presence of an old person and respect the elderly. You must fear your God; I am the Lord.”
God demands that we show respect to the elderly in society. Rising from a seated position to greet or acknowledge the elderly is a sign of respect. Also, if you find the elderly standing while you are seated with no other space available, rise and offer your seat to the elderly.

2. Exercise good eating manners in public.
Proverbs 23:1 (BBE) “When you take your seat at the feast with a ruler, give thought with care to what is before you”
Learn how to eat in public because table manners is very important. Know the kind of cutlery to use for each food and how to use them. Chew food softly with your mouth closed and use napkins at the table.

3. Take a seat of low honour when invited to an occasion until asked otherwise.
Luke 14:8 (BBE) “When you get a request to come to a feast, do not take the best seat, for a more important man than you may be coming,”
When you are invited for an occasion or function, you must be careful not to disgrace yourself by taking a seat of high honour. That seat may be reserved for certain dignitaries so it is always proper to take a seat of low position until you are asked to do otherwise.

Precious one, practice good manners by respecting the elderly, exercising good public eating manners and by taking a seat of low honour when invited for an occasion until asked otherwise.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant me the wisdom to practice good manners anywhere I find myself, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You Can Achieve Your Goal

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 131 (11/05/2022)
Habakkuk 2:3 “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end, it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
Dreams, visions and goals are the things that give direction to the destiny of men. Those who are successful are those who have been able to pursue their dreams and have achieved them. Many of the people we celebrate are those who are living their dreams by achieving their set goals.
Great dreams are usually greater than the ability of the dreamer, and this is what cripples the majority from achieving their goals. However, God’s principles for life are not a respecter of persons. Anyone who applies them will get the promised results.
Here are three steps to achieving your goal:
  1. Spend time with your goal in prayer.
“I will take my post; I will position myself on the fortress. I will keep watch to see what the Lord says to me and how he will respond to my complaint.” – Habakkuk 2:1 (CEB)
Whatever goal or vision you desire to pursue, spend time in prayer and petition God about it. Wait on the Lord concerning your plans and be ready to listen to what the Lord will tell you about it. The Bible says as we commit our plans to the Lord, He will make it successful.
  1. Write the goal or vision down.
“And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” – Habakkuk 2:2
It is important to clearly write down your vision or goal. Distractions and many other ideas cause people to lose their original vision or goal because they have not written it out plainly. Remember that your memory can lose information but your paper will not.
  1. Constantly read your written goal.
“And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” – Habakkuk 2:2
It is said that you become what you constantly think about. Constantly reading your written down goal gives you focus and empowers you to pursue or run in the direction of the goal. Do not let your goal depart out of your eyes and mouth. Keep seeing it, keep reading it, and you will pursue to achieve it.
Precious one, it is possible to achieve any dream or goal you have; pray about it, write it down and keep reading it so that you’ll be able to run with it and achieve it.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me achieve every dream, vision and goal you have placed in my heart, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be Strong And Courageous

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 130 (10/05/2022)
Joshua 1:6-7 (NIV) “Be strong and of good courage, for to this people, you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous…”
Courage is one of the essential character virtues that God demands of those He will use to accomplish great feats. As God commissioned Joshua to lead Israel to the promised land, three times He commanded him to be strong and very courageous.
King David also encouraged his son Solomon to be strong and courageous in order to reign successfully as king (1 Chronicles 22:13). If we are also going to succeed in life and Christian ministry, we must develop this vital character of courage and boldness.
Here are three ways to develop courage:
  1. Live a righteous life.
Proverbs 28:1 says, “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.”
Living a righteous and upright life builds courage in us because we know we owe nobody anything; but when we transgress God’s laws or the laws of the land, we develop a guilty conscience which robs us of our boldness, and we begin to fear being found out. We must therefore repent and fix our ways to walk uprightly in order to restore boldness.
  1. Grow in the knowledge of God.
Daniel 11:32 says, “…the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
The knowledge of God—that is, of who He is, of His power and understanding of His principles—generates confidence and boldness. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing the Word of God, therefore, we must increase in the Word to increase in courage.
  1. Pray regularly in the Holy Ghost.
“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.” – Jude 1:20
Confidence and courage are built when you pray in the Holy Spirit. That means the Holy Spirit can give you strength in your inner man to take bold and courageous decisions that will move you forward towards your purpose in life.
Precious one, walk in righteousness, grow in the knowledge of God and pray in the Spirit so that you will become strong and courageous in life to accomplish your purpose and assignment.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to build courage to pursue my purpose and assignment, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Don’t Be a Bad Worker

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 129 (09/05/2022)
Matthew 24:48 (EASY) “But another servant might be bad. He might say to himself, “My master will not come yet.”
God likes good workers because good workers are dependable and trustworthy to get the job done as the Master wants it. Every job we do has an element of service., and how well we serve defines what kind of servant or worker we are, whether good or bad workers.
According to the opening scripture, bad workers usually take advantage of the lack of immediate supervision and accountability. Christians must however serve in their jobs as unto the Lord who is ever watching.
Here are three things bad workers must begin to do:
  1. Offer timely service.
“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?” – Matthew 24:45 (ESV)
The Master required the servant to do his job at the right and proper time. Bad servants don’t offer timely services. Delayed service causes frustration for the people. Timeliness is one reason why private sector services are more efficient than public sector services. Be a good worker by providing services to your clients and customers quickly or promptly.
  1. Don’t mistreat your customers or clients.
Matthew 24:48-49 (EASY) says, “But another servant might be bad. He might say to himself, “My master will not come yet.” Then he begins to hit the other servants…”
Bad workers handle their customers very badly. There are too many bad workers around in public service offices, hospitals, churches and marketplaces mistreating the people they are supposed to serve. Good Customer Service training must be regularly held to reorient such workers.
  1. Don’t use business resources for personal pleasures.
“But another servant might be bad…He eats too much and he drinks too much. He meets with other people who become drunk.” – Matthew 24:48-49 (EASY)
Instead of this servant feeding his fellows, he uses the supplies on himself. Bad servants fail to use company or government resources for the job assigned to them; rather they lavishly spend the money or resources on themselves. Don’t let your personal interest and pleasure override the company or national interest. Use resources to fully serve those it is meant for without extorting them.
Precious one, remember to be a blessing and make people happy through your job by deploying all available resources to provide prompt and customer-friendly service.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive grace to improve the quality of service that I offer to people, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Learn To Receive

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 128 (08/05/2022)
James 1:7 “For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord”
God is a giver, a giver of good and perfect things while mankind is the recipient of the grace of God. However, the opening scripture tells us that under certain conditions we should not expect to receive from God.
God’s Word is infallible, therefore, if God says, “Ask, and it shall be given”, then it means when we ask—according to His will—it is indeed given. Why then does it seem that many prayers are not answered? This is because many do not know how to receive from God.
Here are three things to help you receive from the Lord:
  1. Be fully convinced of the nature of the person you are asking.
James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
Apostle James encourages us to ask of God on the basis that God is very generous and does not rebuke or find fault for asking. We must be fully convinced that God Himself is inviting us to ask, accompanied by a sure promise: it shall be given. On this unwavering promise, we can and must receive.
  1. Ask in faith.
James 1:6 “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”
Asking in faith does not mean that when you pray, believe that God ‘will’ answer you. This is the failure of many in receiving from God. Their faith is misplaced. Instead of believing that the moment they pray God has answered them, they try to believe that God will answer them someday. Such faith has not been received yet. Believe you receive it now.
  1. Do not entertain other ideas.
James 1:6 (EASY) says, “But when you ask God for something, you must trust him completely. Do not have other ideas in your mind…”
The real fight of faith begins after we have asked and received by faith. The devil will try to steal from us what we have received by faith by suggesting other contrary ideas to us. If we entertain other ideas that suggest that God has not given or answered us, we will lose what we received by faith and there will be no manifestation.
Precious one, God is not a liar and His promises cannot fail. If only we will ask in faith and receive, then what we receive by faith will surely come to pass.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I declare that I believe that I have received every request I have made to You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Move With Knowledge

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 127 (07/05/2022)
Proverbs 8:10 “Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.”
It is said that knowledge is power. The Word of God places such value and importance on knowledge so much so that if you had to exclusively choose between money and knowledge, God admonishes you to choose knowledge. This is because knowledge helps in many significant ways that other things cannot.
Here are three things to do with knowledge:
1. Weigh actions by knowledge.
1 Samuel 2:3 “Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him, actions are weighed.”
Weighing people’s actions with knowledge can go a long way to improving how we relate to them. For example, knowing the temperament of your spouse or friend will help you understand why they act and behave the way they do. This understanding keeps you from being judgmental and always having problems with people.
2. Restrain your words through knowledge.
Proverbs 17:27 (ESV) “Whoever restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding.”
A person of knowledge doesn’t just talk. They think through before choosing what words to speak or whether to speak at all. Increase in knowledge and let knowledge guide your life to restrain your words and not land you into any trouble.
3. Increase your strength and value through knowledge.
Proverbs 24:5 (NLT) “A wise man is mightier than a strong man, and a man of knowledge is more powerful than a strong man.”
Knowledge gives more strength and value to a person than money or some privileges can.  Become stronger and more valuable in your job, business, ministry, family and finances by acquiring more knowledge.  The stronger you are in any area, the more problems you are able to solve for a better outcome.
Precious one, move with knowledge in life in all you do and it will yield pleasant and profitable results for you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, guide me in knowledge so that I may apply them in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Invest your Surplus

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 126 (06/05/2022)
Ecclesiastes 11:1 (GNT) “Invest your money in foreign trade, and one of these days you will make a profit.”
When you earn money and meet all your financial obligations, the surplus or leftover must be committed to investment. The Forbes website describes investing as the purchase of securities, real estate and other items of value in the pursuit of capital gains or income.
In planning your financial future, bear in mind that money depreciates with time. At the current rate of inflation globally, money not invested depreciates considerably with time. Saving alone will not guarantee your financial future hence the need to give your money an opportunity to work for you through investing while you focus on other things.
Here are three types of investments you can do:
  1. Invest for the short term.
“But they store up their food during the summer, getting ready for winter…” – Proverbs 6:8 (GNT)
You must invest in short term investments. This type of financial investment can easily be converted to cash within a space of 3 to 12 months. It can be utilized as an emergency fund in difficult times which can be likened to the winter when conditions are tough so that you will not have to rely on others.
  1. Invest for the medium term.
“For which of you, wishing to build a farm building, does not first sit down and calculate the cost [to see] whether he has sufficient means to finish it?” Luke 14:28 (AMP)
There are investments we can take advantage of whose holding period is intermediate in nature. It is normally done with a specific goal in mind and some assets range from 2 to 10 years. The returns can be used for purposes such as buying a car, or land or to finance marriage.
  1. Invest for the long term.
“Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, to collect one-fifth of the produce of the land of Egypt in the seven plentiful years. And let them gather all the food of those good years that are coming, and store up grain under the authority of Pharaoh…” Genesis 41:34-35 (NKJV)
This is an investment carried through for more than 10 years. It is an investment mostly targeted at retirement as everyone will retire from active work at a point in time. This type of investment can provide the extra resource you can rely on to maintain or improve your lifestyle during retirement.
Precious one, secure your financial future by investing your surplus to take care of emergencies, fund planned acquisitions in the future and help you live a comfortable life at retirement.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant me divine ideas to expand my income stream in order to invest my surplus wisely, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Always Delight In The Lord

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 125 (05/05/2022)
Psalms 37:4 (NKJV) “Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
Whilst waiting for the promises of God to be fulfilled in your life, God expects you to develop and maintain an attitude of gratitude and joy by delighting yourself in Him.
You will find believers praising and worshipping God only when things are going on well. They oftentimes get so overwhelmed with their problems and yield to despondency. The joy of the Lord then dries up. Their smile wears off their faces and instead of living in expectancy of a miracle, they allow depression to dominate their moods.
Here are three ways you can delight in the Lord:
  1. Praise God all the time.
Psalms 34:1 (NKJV) says, “I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
No matter what situation you find yourself in, you must bless and praise God. When circumstances tempt you to yield to self-pity or to anxiety, just begin to bless the name of the Lord that all things are working for your good. You may be down today but allow praise to flow out of your heart unto the Lord.
  1. Rejoice with those who rejoice.
Instead of envying others, we must learn to celebrate with them when they have achieved something good. The Word exhorts us to rejoice with them that rejoice (Romans 12:15a). When you hear that someone else has received a miracle or has been blessed by God, share in their joy and be genuinely happy for them.
  1. Continue to promote God’s work.
While you wait for the promised blessing to manifest, spend time seeking the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Occupy your time of waiting with joyful service in the house of God. Let His work be your delight and He will grant you your heart desires.
Precious one, as we delight in the Lord and wait on Him by praising Him at all times while serving in His house and rejoicing with others, every desire we have will be granted according to His Word.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You that my heart desires are granted, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Live a Proven Life

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 124 (04/05/2022)
Matthew 3:8 (NLT) “Prove by the way you live that you have really turned from your sins and turned to God.
The Christian life is not only by words. We must prove by actions or deeds that we really belong to God and for that matter, we have turned away from our old selves.
We must live a proven life of faith, a proven life as a giver, a proven life of holy living, a proven life of righteousness, a proven life of godliness, etc. “Prove by the way you live that you have really turned from your sins and turned to God.”
Here are three reasons why you must live a proven life:
1. Mature in the Christian faith.
“By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter” – Hebrews 11:24
As a baby, Moses was taken into Pharaoh’s palace and was raised as an Egyptian royal, but when he matured, he realised that he was in the wrong company or environment. Until you mature in the Christian faith, you may not see that you are doing the wrong thing, moving with the wrong group or thinking the wrong ideas. Feed on God’s Word to facilitate your growth in the Lord.
2. Exercise your power of choice.
“Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season”
 – Hebrews 11:25
Maturity comes with the responsibility of making important decisions. Spiritual maturity must be accompanied by a shameless decision to live for God, to forsake certain friends with a readiness to endure ridicule and persecution. We must not be ashamed to live for the gospel.
3. Consider the cost of serving God worth it.
“Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward.”
Hebrews 11:26
The Bible assures us that anyone who will live wholly for God will suffer persecution. Therefore, to live a proven life before God we must esteem the reproaches of serving Christ better than the things we could enjoy in the world. Nothing should be able to entice us back into the world and its sinful pleasures.
Precious one, to live a proven life before God you must mature in the Christian faith and choose to live for God while esteeming the reproaches of Christ better than the treasures of the world.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to live a proven life pleasing unto You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Don’t Be Quick-Tempered

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 123 (03/05/2022)
Ecclesiastes 7:9 (NLT) “Don’t be quick-tempered, for anger is the friend of fools.”
As a normal person, there are instances or situations which you experience that can get you easily angered. However, the opening scripture admonishes us not to be quick-tempered. This means that we can certainly control our anger.
We must never let the sun go down on our anger because it will become an opportunity for the devil to take an advantage of it. Control yourself when faced with instances which trigger sudden anger in you.
Here are three things to consider about controlling your anger:
1. Determine to honour God when angry.
James 1:20 (NLT) “Your anger can never make things right in God’s sight.”
Being carried away by our anger mostly doesn’t lead us to do the right things. Anger usually causes us to act in a manner outside the boundaries of love, thus, we must purpose in our hearts to honour God by acting right even when we get angry.
2. Hold back your anger
Proverbs 29:11 (CEB) “Fools show all their anger, but the wise hold it back.”
If you release the full throttle to your anger, the Bible describes you as a fool. We are to hold back our anger when confronted with issues which spike them up. Those who hold back their anger are said to be wise.
3. Never seek revenge.
Romans 12:19 (CEB) “Don’t try to get revenge for yourselves, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath. It is written, Revenge belongs to me; I will pay it back, says the Lord.”
Many times, we try to get full revenge for the wrong done to us, but this doesn’t really help but rather worsens things up. Give room to God to avenge you for any injustice done against you and never, through anger, take revenge.
Precious one, don’t be quick-tempered, control your temper by determining to honour God by holding back your anger and never taking revenge.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, let any spirit of quick temper in me be quenched by the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Stay True to Your Place in Christ

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 122 (02/05/2022)
Colossians 3:1 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.”
God our Father placed us in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and set Him at His right hand. This place in Christ is both a place of authority and a place of separation from the world and so we are promised that when Christ, who is our life,  appears we shall appear with Him in glory.
It is therefore important to stay true to the kind of life we have in God, and that is why Apostle Paul admonishes us to seek those things which are above. He teaches further how to live Christlike lives.
Here are three things to do to stay true to our place in Christ:
  1. Put to death sins induced by the body’s natural desires.
“Put to death, therefore, your members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry” – Colossians 3:5 (ASV)
We live in a world where people find pleasure and satisfaction when they direct their natural bodily desires toward evil pursuits. But as Christians, we must put to death any desire or idea to engage in fornication, pornography or any perverted sexual desire or activity.
  1. Put off sins induced by emotions.
“But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.” – Colossians 3:8
When our emotions are stirred up out of control, it can lead to sins not consistent with the character of Christ. And that is why we must put off anger, rage, dirty words of insult and utterances that will hurt people.
  1. Practise godly virtues.
“Put on, therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering” – Colossians 3:12
Finally, Apostle Paul admonishes that because we are the elect of God, we must stay true to that calling by exhibiting Christlike virtues of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience while forgiving one another as Christ forgave us.
Precious one, remember that our place with Christ is at the right hand of God. This means to walk in Christ’s authority we must do away with sins induced by our emotions and bodily desires and rather exhibit godly virtues.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, by the power of Your Spirit, I subdue my fleshly desires to live a Christlike life and not as the world does, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Clear the Way for Your Prayers

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 120 (30/04/2022)
Matthew 6:5 “And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are…”
While many men have touched heaven with their prayers and thereby have accomplished great feats and have obtained promises, many more are barely experiencing the blessings that the Word of God promises us concerning prayer.
The reason we may be ineffective in prayer is that we may be praying in a way we ought not to pray. The Bible teaches that there are hindrances to prayer. And until the path of our prayers is cleared of these hindrances, praying will be in vain.
Here are three ways to clear the way for your prayers:
  1. Keep a clean sheet of forgiveness.
Mark 11:25-26 says, “And when ye stand praying, forgive if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
Jesus taught us that unforgiveness hinders prayer. If we hold grudges and offences against other people, our prayers are blocked from the hearing ear of God. The very foundation of our faith is built on the forgiveness of our sins, so God expects us to forgive others always without exception.
  1. Honour your spouse.
1 Peter 3:7 says, “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered”
Many years ago, women were not highly esteemed in society. The Spirit of God, through Apostle Peter, revealed that our prayers were hindered by mistreating and looking down upon one’s wife. By extension, spouses must honour one another, and believers must also honour one another because we are all heirs together of the grace of God.
  1. Pray with the right motive.
James 4:3 (NIV) says, “When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.”
Jesus said that our prayers would be answered so that the Father would be glorified. However, some believers have motives other than God’s glory when they pray: they are in competition, wanting to outdo some other believer or they want to add to their reputation. Let’s rather seek God’s glory and our prayers will stand before God with favour.
Precious one, much can be accomplished through prayer to Almighty God and so let’s approach with a true heart to clear these hindrances from our lives in order to receive answers from above.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive this grace and light of Your Word to help me be more effective in prayer, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Escape the Debt Culture

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 119 (29/04/2022)
Romans 12:2 (Message) “Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out…”
Debt is the state of owing money, goods or services to somebody or an institution. It is an obligation, a liability or a debit. Debts, basically, arise because people don’t have enough to take care of their living and as a result, they spend more than they earn.
The world system offers debt options such as mortgages, car loans and salary advance loans to individuals on seemingly flexible terms. Others also offer credit on items like electronic gadgets and household appliances deepening this culture. Understand that debt is like an addiction and if not careful, once you start you keep going till you cannot come out.
Here are three principles that can help us escape this culture:
  1. Know that being in debt is not God’s best for you.
God told His people, “…You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them.” – Deuteronomy 28:12 (NLT)
A believer’s way of life must not revolve around getting into debt and having a hard time breaking out of it. God rather wants to bless us such that we’ll have more than enough to give to others. Approach God in faith and seek His promises diligently for a breakthrough.
  1. Don’t become accustomed to the debt culture.
“So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then.” 1 Peter 1:14 (NLT)
Becoming accustomed to the debt culture is to continue borrowing which leads to slavery because the borrower is a slave to the lender. And God doesn’t want His children to be in bondage to others because of money. Therefore, don’t get used to debts, break out of them.
  1. Don’t spend everything you get.
“Wise people live in wealth and luxury, but stupid people spend their money as fast as they get it.” Proverbs 21:20 (GNT)
Putting part of our earnings aside helps us save for projects or build an emergency fund which we can fall on in hard times. Remember, when you save money, money will also save you in time of need.
Precious one, see that being in constant indebtedness is not walking in God’s best provisions and so don’t get used to it. Believe God to walk in His provisions and begin to save as supplies come.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant me a way of escape from the debt culture and teach me to be diligent in my finances that I may become a lender and not a borrower, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be Consecrated Unto God

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 118 (28/04/2022)
Joshua 3:5 “And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you”
We see in the opening scripture how God demanded consecration or sanctification from His people so that He would move mightily and do wonders among them.
The dictionary defines ‘consecrate’ as “to declare or make something holy”. To consecrate is also similar to ‘sanctify’ which means, “to make holy; or set aside for sacred or ceremonial use.”
Believers who are not consecrated try to use God to serve their purposes and selfish desires; however, consecrated believers are rather used of God to serve His divine purposes.
Here are three reasons why we must live consecrated lives unto God:
  1. Consecration is a prerequisite for the flow of God’s power.
The opening scripture is clear on the subject. Because God was determined to perform wonders among His people, He commanded their sanctification. Jesus Christ walked in the power of God by the spirit of holiness. Romans 1:4 states “and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.”
  1. God can freely use a consecrated vessel.
“If a man, therefore, purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.” (2 Timothy 2:21)
Living a life of consecration makes us prepared, ready, honourable, and sanctified to serve the will of the Father. Though saved, a believer that is not consecrated will be of no use to the kingdom of God. Our God is holy and delights in using purged and sanctified believers.
  1. Our hope of being joined with Christ when he appears is hinged on our sanctification.
1 John 3:3 states, “And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.”  The Bible reveals that the Lord will come back for a Church without spot or wrinkle, thus, sanctification is vital if we want to be caught up with Him when he appears in the sky.
Precious one, together with Apostle Paul, I beseech you, therefore, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God. This is our reasonable response to God in order to manifest His power, to become useful vessels, and to be caught up with Jesus when he appears again.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me live a consecrated life unto You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

God is Interested in Your Future

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 117 (27/04/2022)
Proverbs 23:18 (NLT) “For surely you have a future ahead of you; your hope will not be disappointed.”
God is interested in the future of all His people because the future reveals the full purpose of God for a person. The opening scripture encourages us that our hope for a fulfilled future will not be disappointed. Any child of God who wholly trusts in Him will never be disappointed. God rewards our hope and faith in Him to bring our destinies into full and glorious manifestation.
Here are three things to note about your future:
1. God promises to help you fulfil your destiny.
Philippians 1:6 (NLT) “And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again.”
When you commit your future into God’s hands, you must be fully assured that whatever plans you put before Him will surely receive God’s guidance and grace towards fulfilment.
2. God delights in every detail of your life.
Psalms 37:23 (NLT) “The steps of the godly are directed by the Lord. He delights in every detail of their lives.”
God pays attention to every detail of the lives of His dear children because He cares for us. Having this in mind, we must set before Him our plans and aspirations in life so that He will be involved and show us the way to go.
  1. God’s interest in you centres around Christ.
Ephesians 1:9 (NLT) “God’s secret plan has now been revealed to us; it is a plan centred on Christ, designed long ago according to his good pleasure.”
If Christ is not in your life, it really doesn’t matter what you achieve in life, it will all be for nothing in the end. This is because God has decreed that true life be found in Jesus Christ. Make Jesus Lord of your life and experience the true meaning of life.
Precious one, know that God is really interested in you to give you a fulfilled destiny in Christ Jesus in every detail of life.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I put my life and future in Your hands, help me fulfil it, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Expect Doors of Hope

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 116 (26/04/2022)
Hosea 2:15 (NKJV) “I will give her her vineyards from there, and the Valley of Achor as a door of hope; she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, as in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.”
We must not live as people who are hopeless because we belong to a mighty and faithful God. In the opening scripture, we see how  God restores to His people their heritage and turns the Valley of Achor (also known as the Valley of Trouble) into a door of hope.
It doesn’t matter the disappointment or heartbreak you have suffered, God is able to use the same situation to give you hope and a future. Expect doors of hope to open to you this year.
Here are three things to note about expecting doors of hope:
1. Pray and believe for open doors.
Colossians 4:3 (NKJV) “meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains,”
There are doors of hope and opportunities that God can open for you to bless your family, business, career or ministry. Praying and believing God will open these doors for you because He has promised to hear and answer our prayers.
2. When God opens, no one can shut.
Revelation 3:8 (NKJV) “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”
When we pray and expect God for an open door, He opens it and no one can shut it. Just keep God’s Word of promise, no matter how little your strength might be. Hold on to Him because this door will never shut on you until you enter into it.
3. There will be adversaries to your open door.
1 Corinthians 16:9 (NET) “because a door of great opportunity stands wide open for me, but there are many opponents.”
When God opens your door of hope and opportunity, there are adversaries who cannot shut the door but will oppose and fight you so that you cannot enter it or maximise the opportunity. Therefore, you must remain strong and focused in the Lord to overcome them.
Precious one, don’t lose hope because, by prayer, God can turn your troubles around by opening doors of hope and opportunities for you to be honoured and celebrated.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray, turn my valleys of trouble into doors of hope, favour and great opportunities, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Never Cease To Pray

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 115 (25/04/2022)
1 Samuel 12:23 “Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:”
The prophet Samuel recognized the ministry that God had called him into and knew that it was a sin to stop ministering to God in prayer. Every believer, being a priest unto God, must also recognise that they cannot ignore the importance of prayer in their calling.
God who came down from heaven in the cool of the day just to have fellowship with man, has not changed. That is the nature of God. He longs for us in fellowship so we must also long for Him by never ceasing to pray.
Here are three reasons why we must never cease to pray:
1. The Lord desires our constant fellowship.
Psalms 139:17-18 (NIV) “How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand — when I awake, I am still with you.”
God is our Father and as His sons, our relationship is strengthened through constant fellowship with Him. God enjoys our fellowship in prayer so never cease to pray because He loves to be with us always.
2. God expects us to cast our cares on Him.
1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
Everyone has cares and needs which have the potential of graduating to worries and anxieties, but our heavenly Father wants to do all the heavy-lifting and carrying for us. Release yourself from the burdens by casting them to God in prayer always.
3. True prayer humbles us before God.
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
We must learn to humble ourselves before God at all times and one of the ways to do that is never ceasing to pray. Learn to be submissive to God and seek His face always.
Precious one, never cease to pray because God enjoys your fellowship and He promises to take care of you as you humble yourself before Him in prayer.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive the spirit of grace and supplication to never cease in praying, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Embark on Spiritual Discoveries

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 114 (24/04/2022)
1 Corinthians 2:12 (NLT) “And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us.”
Jesus Christ told His disciples that He had many things to tell them but they couldn’t receive or understand them now, nevertheless, the Spirit of God would later reveal to them all that He had in store for them.
And the opening verse tells us that God has made wonderful things freely available to us and we have been given the Spirit of God to help us discover, realize and comprehend and appreciate them.
It is important, therefore, for every believer to make it a personal quest to embark on spiritual discoveries of God’s investment in us.
Here are three areas to explore by the Spirit:
  1. God’s calling for you
Ephesians 1:18 “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling…”
Many are called but the few who respond are chosen. God expects those who have not responded yet to yield and respond to His call, and for those who have responded, to wait and call upon Him so that He’ll show them great and mighty things unknown to them.
  1. Christ’s inheritance in you
Ephesians 1:18 “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know…what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints”
Jesus received a rich and glorious inheritance upon His resurrection, and this inheritance has been deposited in His body, that is, in His people—you and me! That makes us very valuable to Him. Revelation 5:12 gives us an idea of this inheritance. Begin to explore and dig into your value.
  1. God’s mighty power
Ephesians 1:18-19 “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know…what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power”
Every believer must explore and discover for themselves the exceeding greatness of God’s power available in them for their benefit and for others. Until then, many will live below their abilities and capabilities and below the abundant life, Jesus Christ came for us to have.
Precious one, may the Spirit of the Lord help you to make discoveries into the spiritual life He imparted to you in Christ, so that you may live fully and victoriously.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask that, by Your Spirit, You help me discover and receive my full inheritance, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Return to God Now

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 113 (23/04/2022)
Hosea 6:1 “Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.”
The Bible teaches us that the cares of this world, love for this world and other earthly interests can draw our hearts away from God and cause our faith to shipwreck. As a result, we may get into various unwarranted troubles and difficulties in life.
God can, however, heal and deliver us when we go astray from Him. He will not cast you away no matter how far away you have gone. He wants you back. This is the time we must return to the Lord and refuse to be dragged away by the love of the world.
Here are three things to do to return to God:
1. Rend your heart.
Joel 2:13 “And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.”
The rending or tearing of one’s garment in old times was a sign of repentance or brokenness before the Lord. However, people could do that and not really turn to God with their hearts. God, however, seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in sincerity, and not just by the professing of the mouth.
2. Examine your ways.
Lamentations 3:40 (NKJV) “Let us search out and examine our ways, And turn back to the Lord”
The Bible instructs us to examine ourselves to see whether we are in the faith. We must constantly search within ourselves whether our actions, as children of God, are always in tandem with God’s Word, and make the necessary adjustments consistent with righteousness.
3. Observe His decrees.
Malachi 3:7 (NIV) “Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the LORD Almighty. “But you ask, ’How are we to return?’”
Return to God by observing His decrees and principles. As we consistently read the Bible, we become acquainted with the ways and will of God, and being richly filled with His Word, we are able to live according to His will and commandments.
Precious one, let us return to God by examining your ways, by observing His decrees and by drawing near to Him with a true heart of brokenness and repentance.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, guide me by Your Spirit to return to You on whichever path I have gone astray, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Allow God To Correct You

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 112 (22/04/2022)
Job 5:17 (NLT) “But consider the joy of those corrected by God! Do not despise the chastening of the Almighty when you sin.”
Just as is the duty of every parent to correct their children, God also wants to correct us in all our ways because it is His responsibility to do that. The Lord knows those who are His and His correction brings forth good fruits in our lives, hence, the need to allow Him to correct us. As long as you belong to God, you will surely go through correction so that you will stay on the path of life.
Here are three reasons why you must allow God to correct you:
1. It produces wisdom.
Proverbs 29:15 (NLT) “To discipline and reprimand a child produces wisdom, but a mother is disgraced by an undisciplined child.”
When you refuse to be corrected by God, your life eventually leads to disgrace because you are deprived of wisdom. The lessons we learn from our mistakes are a good guide for our next steps.
2. It is a sign of His love for us.
Revelation 3:19 (NLT) “I am the one who corrects and disciplines everyone I love. Be diligent and turn from your indifference.”
God’s love for us is also proven through His discipline. God corrects and disciplines all His children because His love seeks our welfare. It is His responsibility to do that because we are His dear children.
3. Rejecting correction is despising your future.
Proverbs 15:32 (CEB) “Those who refuse discipline despise themselves, but those who listen to correction gain understanding.”
When you refuse discipline or correction from God, you despise yourself and your future.  Correction from God trains you to become what God has purposed for you to become but once you don’t allow God to discipline you, it means you don’t esteem His plan for you.
Precious one, remember that God loves you and He has planned the best for you so embrace His corrections in the journey of life and it will be well with you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant me a soft heart so I will be taught by your discipline, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Do The Right Thing

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 111 (21/04/2022)
James 4:17 (CEB) “It is a sin when someone knows the right thing to do and doesn’t do it.”
The Bible says that knowing what is right but failing to do it is a sin in the sight of God. God expects us to do the right thing which is according to His Word and not according to the world or tradition.
If you are still struggling to do what is right, then you need to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour to break the power of sin over you, or you a believer who needs to learn to walk by the spirit and not by the flesh.
Here are three reasons why you must live right:
1. All will go well with you.
Deuteronomy 6:18 (NLT) “Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so all will go well with you. Then you will enter and occupy the good land that the Lord solemnly promised to give your ancestors.”
God expects everything about His children to go well for them. But this only happens when we do what is right in His sight. Do what God expects you to do and you will enjoy every promise He has solemnly sworn to you.
2. Doing right attracts a reward from God.
Ephesians 6:8 (CEB) “You know that the Lord will reward every person who does what is right, whether that person is a slave or a free person.”
Doing the right thing in the sight of God attracts God’s favour and reward. Because Cornelius did the right thing by worshipping God and giving much alms to the poor, God remembered him by rewarding him with the gift of salvation to save his entire household.
3. Doing right is better than sacrifice.
Proverbs 21:3 (NIV) “To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.”
God prefers that we obey and follow what He has said than when we try to do something big to please Him while ignoring His Word. If a person kills for money and builds for God with it, he is not justified and will not be accepted by God.
Precious one, doing the right thing has a reward from God because it is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice and it makes all things be well with you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, strengthen me to do the right things in life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Save Money Consistently

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 110 (20/04/2022)
Proverbs 28:20 (NLT) “The trustworthy will get a rich reward. But the person who wants to get rich quick will only get into trouble.”
The opening scripture says that the trustworthy will get a rich reward. In terms of savings, it implies that the one who has the ability to save money consistently will surely be rewarded.
Consistency is what ensures a good reward; inconsistency defeats the purpose of saving in the long run. Don’t save today and stop tomorrow but save your money consistently and your consistency will surely pay off.
Here are three reasons why you must save consistently:
1. It is an avenue to secure your children’s future
Proverbs 13:22 “A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.”
Children are a gift from God to parents, as such, their welfare must be catered for. As a parent, your consistent savings can help rescue your child from any critical or urgent need or situation they may encounter. Take delight in saving consistently because it is an avenue to securing their future.
2. Money is a defence.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 “For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.”
Money protects and answers all things. Without money, one cannot cater for hospital bills, rent issues, utility bills, etc. Ensure you save money consistently because it will defend you from all kinds of bill payment embarrassment and other relevant matters of life.
3. Failure to save will cause you to suffer.
Genesis 47:15 “And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.”
When you fail to save your money consistently, you may be found wanting. After the Egyptians had spent all the money they had, they went to Joseph for support or they risked dying. Don’t wait till the rainy day before you acknowledge the importance of consistent saving.
Precious one, save consistently because it is an avenue to save for your children’s future, it is also a defence against embarrassments and sufferings in life.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, give me the grace and wisdom to be disciplined in consistent savings, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Find Wisdom

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 109 (19/04/2022)
Proverbs 24:14 (NIV) “Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.”
The Bible says wisdom is like honey; it makes life sweet and pleasant to live. And that is why the Scripture says that wisdom is the principal or the chiefest thing to get in life.
However, the nature of wisdom is such that we must seek it because no one is naturally born with it. The opening scripture says “if you find it”. This description of wisdom makes it a treasure to be sought and we must find it. Let me show you some simple ways to find wisdom.
Here are three ways to find wisdom:
1. Have the fear of the Lord.
Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”
The Bible says that the fear of the Lord is to hate evil and pride. As we depart from all forms of evil in obedience to His Word, we begin to walk on the paths of finding divine wisdom.
2. Walk with the wise.
Proverbs 13:20 (CEB) “Walk with wise people and become wise; befriend fools and get in trouble.”
If bad company corrupts good character (1 Corinthians 15:33), then certainly good company enhances good character. When we associate with people who have wisdom (in any particular area), we begin to exhibit their wisdom through learning. Therefore, walk with the wise and become wise.
3. Pray for wisdom.
Ephesians 1:17 (NIV) “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.”
Apostle Paul kept asking God in prayer for the church in Ephesus to receive the Spirit of wisdom. As a believer, if you want wisdom or if you lack it in any particular area of concern, ask God in prayer and the Spirit of wisdom will respond to you.
Precious one, in finding wisdom, walk in the fear of the Lord, walk with the wise and ask the Lord for wisdom.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask and receive sound wisdom for my life, family and work, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Releasing the Power Within

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 108 (18/04/2022)
Ephesians 1:19-20 (NIV) “And his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms”
As we celebrate this Easter season, we should remember and reflect on the Resurrection power that resides in us as believers. That is, as Spirit-filled believers, we have the same power that God exerted when He raised Jesus from the dead, residing in us.
This is the greatest power that God ever exerted from the beginning of the world. But this power can remain dormant and not benefit us in any way if we don’t know how to release it for ourselves and for the benefit of humanity.
Here are three steps to releasing the power within:
  1. Have a revelation of the Resurrection power.
“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people” – Ephesians 1:18 (NIV)
Paul prayed for the believers in Ephesus that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened in order for this truth to be a revelation to them. We can also receive it as a revelation by meditating on it and praying it into our lives.
  1. Constantly confess it.
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10
Like the truth concerning Salvation, whatever you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth becomes your reality. As you keep declaring that you have the Resurrection power in you, that truth becomes a manifested reality to bless you and others.
  1. Act on it.
“When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.” – Mark 5:27
When the woman with the issue of blood acted on what she believed about touching the garment of Jesus,  healing power was released for her healing. When you confront the challenges of life being conscious of the fact that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, commensurate power is released to do away with those challenges.
Precious one, the same power God exerted when he raised Christ from the dead is inside you. Release it by having a revelation of it, confessing it and acting on it.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that the eyes of my understanding will be enlightened to see the reality of the Resurrection power in me, in Jesus’s name. Amen.

Happy Resurrection Sunday!! He’s Alive

Out of the Grave With a Name

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 107 (17/04/2022)
Philippians 2:8-9 “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name”
The name of Jesus has been the greatest name in the universe since that faithful resurrection Sunday when God conferred ‘almightiness’ upon the person of Jesus and upon His name, after He had, by conquest, disarmed and spoiled principalities and powers.
“But this is what God says to his Son: ‘You are God and you will rule as King forever!” (Hebrews 1:8 EASY) By this sovereign decree upon His Son, Jesus received the inheritance of a more excellent name than all beings in the heavens, on earth and under the earth.
Now this Name belongs to the Church and is available to all men. What for?
Here are three reasons for the Name:
1. The Name gives Man salvation.
Acts 4:12 (BBE) “And in no other is there salvation: for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, through which we may have salvation.”
The name of Jesus gives salvation to all mankind. There is no other name under heaven that is recognised and authorised by God to save mankind except the name of Jesus.
2. The Name gives Man approval with God.
John 14:13 (CEB) “I will do whatever you ask for in my name so that the Father can be glorified in the Son.”
Jesus directed His disciples to pray to the Father in His name. This is because the Name bestows upon us favour and approval before God so that our requests are granted. The Name gives us merit above what we deserve so that we are not denied answers.
3. The Name gives Manpower over demons.
Mark 16:17 “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…”
When Jesus sent out His disciples before His death, they returned testifying that the demons were subject to them in His name. But Jesus had instructed them not to go beyond the boundaries of Israel. After His resurrection, however, He sent them to the whole world to cast out demons in His mighty Name. The name of Jesus carries the power to scatter all demonic forces!
Precious one, if you are a child of God, the Name belongs to you; approach God with it and subdue the devil with it. If you want to become a true child of God, then call upon the name of Jesus for your salvation.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, let the name of Jesus be exalted in my life; I receive Your favour and salvation, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Price Is Paid

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 106 (16/04/2022)
Isaiah 44:22 (NLT) “I have swept away your sins like the morning mists. I have scattered your offences like the clouds. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.”
The opening scripture says our sins have been swept away and our offences have been scattered like clouds. This is the time for us to return to the Lord because the blood has paid the price for mankind. Mankind is now free from bondage.
Live your life like a free man and bury the past now because the past is buried with Him in His death. God will cause you to achieve great things which you never thought of in your life because the price is paid now.
Here are three things Jesus paid for:
1. Our liberty to serve God is paid for.
1 Corinthians 7:23 (NLT) “God purchased you at a high price. Don’t be enslaved by the world.”
You were not bargained for but fully purchased at a high price, with the precious blood of Christ to serve the living God. Therefore, don’t be enslaved by the things of this world such that you have no desire for the one who gave His life for you. Serve and love the Lord with all your heart.
2. Deliverance from bad habits is paid for.
Titus 2:14 (CEB) “He gave himself for us in order to rescue us from every kind of lawless behaviour, and cleanse a special people for himself who are eager to do good actions.”
The death of Christ released power through His blood to deliver us from evil and lawless habits and behaviour. Jesus gives us the power to live a holy life unto God and puts in us the eagerness to do good. Call on Jesus and He’ll make you free indeed from every evil habit.
3. Our healing is paid for.
Matthew 8:17 (NKJV) “that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”
Jesus has paid for our complete healing. He took our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself and destroyed their power over us through His death so that we would enjoy good health to the glory of God. Receive your healing now, it’s paid for!
Precious one, Jesus has paid the full price and there’s still excess change on the precious and priceless blood. As we commemorate His death, may the Son make you free indeed.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive every benefit that the blood has purchased for me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Conquered By The Blood

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 105 (15/04/2022)
Revelation 12:11 (ESV) “And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.”
The blood of Jesus is not ordinary because it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life. In the opening scripture, we have the power to overcome the devil by His blood. Remember, blood is life and that life is in His blood.
As we celebrate the death of Jesus Christ today, be assured that the blood will speak for you and cause you to conquer every negative thing in your life and bring victory to you. Bury the past today with Jesus on the cross knowing that He conquered the devil through death by His blood.
Here are three things about the conquering blood of Christ:
1. The blood brought justification to men.
Romans 5:9 “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
God had to destroy the world with water in the days of Noah because of the sins of men as no amount of sacrifice could stop God’s anger. But now, we have been justified by the blood of Jesus and God sees us through the blood of Christ.
2. The blood brought redemption to men.
Ephesians 1:7 “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”
Man could not be saved by the atonement of animal blood as those sacrifices could not wash away the guilt of sin. But the blood of Jesus brought redemption to mankind, even the forgiveness of sins.
3. The blood established a new covenant.
1 Corinthians 11:25 “After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.”
The old covenant has been set aside and a new covenant based on greater and better promises has been enforced by the blood of Jesus. “By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete”, hence the blood of Jesus establishing that new covenant for mankind.
Precious one, the conquering blood of Jesus has brought justification to men, redemption to men and a new covenant founded on better promises to mankind.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, let the blood that speaks better things than the blood of Abel speak for me today, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

For this Cause Jesus Came

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 104 (14/04/2022)
John 12:27 “Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.”
It is not for no reason that the Son of God came into the world. Jesus was purposefully sent by the Father to bring restoration to all that was lost and messed up in the garden of Eden.
Adam lost his authority over the earth to the devil. Secondly, he lost the blessing and provoked a curse. Thirdly, Adam lost God’s authority over him. He lost the opportunity to establish the kingdom of God on earth. And so for these reasons, Jesus came to bring a restoration of all things in the fullness of time.
Here are three prophecies concerning His coming:
  1. He is the promised seed of the woman.
Genesis 3:15 (AMP) “And I will put enmity (open hostility) Between you and the woman, And between your seed (offspring) and her Seed; He shall [fatally] bruise your head, And you shall [only] bruise His heel.”
As the promised seed of the woman, Jesus came to bruise and crush the head of the serpent; that is, to break off and nullify the authority of Satan that Adam had put mankind under. This is the first promise of man’s redemption.
  1. He is the promised seed of Abraham.
Galatians 3:16 “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.”
As the promised seed of Abraham, Jesus came to redeem man from the curse and to restore the blessing, making it available to all who will receive Him.
  1. He is the promised seed of David.
Romans 1:3-4 “Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power…”
As the seed of king David, Jesus came to restore God’s authority over man in the earth. He came to establish the kingdom of God with power so that anyone who believes in Him will partake of God’s kingdom. For those who reject His kingdom, now He waits till all His enemies be made his footstool.
Precious one, as we celebrate this Passover week, remember that our authority on earth and over Satan has been restored, and we have been blessed with all blessings in His kingdom. Hallelujah!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You that Jesus is Lord of my life; therefore, I walk in His authority and blessing, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Add To Your Learning

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 103 (13/04/2022)
Proverbs 1:5 (NIV) “let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance —”
It is profitable to be wise but no one can be all-wise at any point in time, that is why it is the mark of wise people to add to their learning. A person’s wisdom must not be seen to be static. Always add to your learning so that you become wiser and exceptionally different from others. God expects the discerning to get guidance as the scripture above says. Don’t be satisfied with the knowledge and wisdom you have now but keep adding to your learning.
Here are three things to add to your learning:
1. Practice
Philippians 4:9 (NIV) “Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me —put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
Add practice to your learning. Whatever you learn must be put into practice. Real learning hasn’t taken place until you have tested and proved the knowledge acquired. When you have well-practised your learning, then it becomes your skill.
2. Advice
Proverbs 12:15 (NIV) “The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.”
As you learn, ensure to take advice from people who have gone ahead of you in life. Don’t think you know it all but be open to advice as you learn.
3. More learning.
Daniel 12:4 “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
Add to your learning more learning. This means that you must be consistent in learning to stay fresh in knowledge and to be updated and upgraded in what you know because knowledge keeps being revealed and keeps increasing.
Precious one, add to your learning practice, advice and more learning to remain sharp and relevant in your field of endeavour.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to increase in wisdom and to practice what I learn, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Get Understanding

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 102 (12/04/2022)
Proverbs 4:7 “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
There are many important things in life to acquire but there are some that rank higher than others. The Word of God tells us that wisdom and understanding are to be desired above all else. Understanding is rooted in knowledge and it rises to bear the leaves of wisdom. When we have understanding, it causes us to take steps of wisdom.
Here are three reasons to get understanding:
1. Understanding prospers a person.
Proverbs 19:8 (NIV) “The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.”
Understanding of how things work is necessary for the pursuit of purpose. Any person who will succeed in any profession or endeavour has to acquire an understanding of how that trade works, otherwise, failure is inevitable. But the one with understanding will soon prosper.
2. Understanding establishes a person.
Proverbs 24:3 (NIV) “By wisdom, a house is built, and through understanding, it is established”
To be established means to be settled and positioned in such a way that we are ready to enjoy continued benefits or profit or increase. And it is understanding that brings such establishment to the things we pursue in life. Therefore, get more understanding of what you do.
3. Understanding gives sound judgment.
1 Kings 3:9 “Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?”
King Solomon asked God for an understanding heart to judge God’s people. As believers in the Lord, we need a heart of understanding to discern good from evil so that we can have sound judgment to make well-informed decisions.
Precious one, get understanding in what you do so that you can make the right decisions in life and be established to enjoy continued prosperity.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I seek to get understanding, help me attain unto wise counsel, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Finish Well

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 101 (11/04/2022)
1 Samuel 13:13 (NIV) “You have done a foolish thing,” Samuel said. “You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time.”
Like everyone else, God had great plans for Saul whom He had appointed as the first king of Israel. However, Saul made many grievous mistakes regarding his obedience to the commandments and instructions of God. As a result, Saul’s kingdom didn’t endure. He lost it to King David, a man after God’s own heart. Eventually, Saul died prematurely in a battle as if he was not anointed. It is important to take a cue from Saul’s life if we will finish well in life.
Here are three lessons for finishing well:
  1. Stay in your specific calling.
“And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said…I forced myself therefore and offered a burnt offering. And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly…” – 1 Samuel 13:11-13
One of the many failures of King Saul was straying from his calling to do what he was not called or even permitted to do. We can cut short our lives or become total failures if we don’t remain in our own calling to fulfil it.
  1. Obey God fully.
1 Samuel 15:11 (NET) “I regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned away from me and has not done what I told him to do…”
Saul was instructed by God to utterly and absolutely destroy the Amalekites, both man and beast, but he failed the instruction and justified himself with a ‘good reason’. Likewise, some people accept the call of God in their lives but fail to execute the mandate of their assignment. They do it their own way, hence, they don’t end well.
  1. Don’t be a man-pleaser.
“Then Saul admitted to Samuel, “Yes, I have sinned. I have disobeyed your instructions and the Lord’s command, for I was afraid of the people and did what they demanded.” 1 Samuel 15:24 (NLT)
Saul finally admitted that he had disobeyed God to please the people. You won’t finish well in life if you’re always affected and influenced by the criticisms and expectations of people. Be mainly guided and influenced by God’s direction for you.
Precious one, you might have started well in your calling, determine to finish well by staying in your calling, fully obeying the Lord and not yielding to the pressure of people.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant me finishing grace to finish my course well to Your glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Strategically Invest

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 100 (10/04/2022)
Proverbs 19:2 (BBE) “Further, without knowledge desire is not good; and he who is over-quick in acting goes out of the right way.”
It is futile to desire out of life anything we haven’t appropriately deposited into it. We need to strategically invest into our lives. The opening scripture says “without knowledge desire is not good”. There has to be a desire to invest. Our feelings about the issues of life are not a sufficient and reliable guide to living life. To have zeal without knowledge is to be hastily led astray.
Thus, we must invest strategically through wisdom into certain important areas of life for great output in life.
Here are three areas to strategically invest in:
1. Education
2 Timothy 3:15 (BBE) “And that from the time when you were a child, you have had knowledge of the holy Writings, which are able to make you wise to salvation, through faith in Christ Jesus.”
Knowledge is power, as is said. Apostle Paul appreciated his son in the Lord, Timothy, who had really invested in the knowledge of the Scriptures since his childhood and had become very beneficial to Paul in the ministry. Education has no end so invest in it because it will make you distinguished from others in your field of work.
2. Family
1 Timothy 5:8 (BBE) “If anyone has no care for his family and those in his house, he is false to the faith, and is worse than one who has no faith.”
When we deny our family of the care and support needed, God’s Word describes us as being worse than an unbeliever. Therefore, don’t abandon your family, invest in them. Invest love and quality time, and create good memories with family.
3. Spiritual life
Matthew 6:20 (BBE) says, “But make a store for yourselves in heaven, where it will not be turned to dust and where thieves do not come in to take it away:”
Besides making investments in our families and education, there is the need to also invest in our spiritual life. Man is a spirit because we are created in the image of God. Invest in fasting and prayer and in the study of the Word. Be watchful to grow in the fruit of the spirit and be a giver, so that your profiting may appear to all.
Precious one, you need to strategically invest time, energy and resources into your education, family and spiritual life so that you can reap great and satisfying returns in these areas.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive wisdom to invest in my education, family and spiritual life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Lead Like Joseph

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 99 (09/04/2022)
Genesis 41:39-40 (NIV) “Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.”
Dr. Myles Munroe once said, “Leadership is the cause, all other things are effect”. This means that when we get it right at the leadership level, all other things will fall in place. Joseph’s sterling leadership enabled him to superintend as Prime Minister of Egypt for eight uninterrupted decades. The timeless leadership principles and skills he used can be applied to diverse backgrounds and orientations, including the clergy, politicians, business and corporate executives.
Here are three essential Joseph-leadership traits:
  1. Leaders have concern for individuals.
“We both had dreams,” they answered, “but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.” – Genesis 40:8 (NIV)
Joseph was in prison for an offence he never committed. Instead of being angry and self-concerned, he was concerned about the problems of the individuals in the prison. Many leaders are only interested in the crowds for their personal ego. Those who make an impact are those who have the needs of the individuals they oversee at heart.
  1. Leaders understand submission.
“Joseph was thirty years old when he entered the service of Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from Pharaoh’s presence and travelled throughout Egypt.” – Genesis 41:46 (NIV)
As powerful and influential as Joseph was in the land of Egypt, he was not number one. He had to submit to the leadership of Pharaoh. He never attempted to usurp authority above him or abuse his power over those under him.
  1. Leaders are responsible family people.
1 Timothy 3:4-5 (NIV) teaches that a leader “..must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?)”
If a leader is not a responsible family person, he or she will have difficulty delivering effective leadership. Joseph was skilful in determining whether his brothers had changed in character and was afterwards reunited with his whole family in love and joy.
Precious one, it is time to become a better person of influence by becoming a responsible family person, by understanding submission and having concern for individuals.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to provide effective leadership to the people in my scope of influence, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Accept Divine Guidance

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 98 (08/04/2022)
Proverbs 29:18 (NLT) “When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is happy.”
Believers must run with vision, focus, purpose, love, faith, knowledge, wisdom and above all divine guidance. The opening scripture says, “When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild”. This means that once you move about in life without divine guidance, you get out of control and lose direction, and anything at all can move you.
Here are three things to consider about divine guidance:
1. Obey divine guidance without hesitation
Acts 10:19-20 (NLT) “Meanwhile, as Peter was puzzling over the vision, the Holy Spirit said to him, “Three men have come looking for you. Go down and go with them without hesitation. All is well, for I have sent them.”
Apostle Peter was asked by the Holy Spirit to go to the house of Cornelius without hesitation. Failure to do that would have caused Cornelius’ entire household to have perished. In the same way, God wants us to obey and accept divine guidance without hesitation because it is for your good and the good of others.
2. The road map to your life becomes clear.
Isaiah 30:21 “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”
There is a particular path meant for you to follow in order to have a fulfilled life. Our God-given destinies and assignments are not the same but as you accept divine guidance, God will show you which path to follow and which direction to go.
3. Your life flourishes continually.
Isaiah 58:11 (NLT) “The Lord will guide you continually, watering your life when you are dry and keeping you healthy, too. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.”
As Christians, we need to flourish wherever we go and wherever we find ourselves. But this happens when we accept divine guidance in our lives. May God cause you to flourish as you accept to live by divine guidance.
Precious one, for your life to flourish continually, you must journey without hesitation on a clear road map that God will give you as you accept divine guidance.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I accept divine guidance, usher me into my glorious inheritance by your Spirit, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Men Ought Always to Pray

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 97 (07/04/2022)
Luke 18:1 “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint”
Jesus defined the way men ought to operate in relation to prayer—always, without giving up. Simply stated, we are vitally malfunctioning as men if we neglect the habit of continual praying. According to Jesus, there is no season that is appropriate to take a break from prayer.
Here are three reasons why we must pray always:
  1. It is a sure way to overcome temptations.
“Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.” Matthew 4:1
Jesus was primarily led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil and as a measure to overcome, He fasted and prayed. Nearing the end of His earthly ministry, He taught His disciples to also watch and pray lest they fell into temptation. Continual Bible-based prayer empowers us to dominate the flesh, giving us the ability to overcome.
  1. Continual prayer releases angelic assistance.
“Peter, therefore, was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him…And his chains fell off from his hands.” – Acts 12:5,7
There was no way naturally possible for Peter to escape his captors. He had no leverage, no connections in high places and no financial influence. But by relentless prayer by the Church, Peter received angelic escort to walk out of an impossible situation without resistance. Supernatural deliverance is available to us through continual prayer.
  1. Continuous prayers break every resistance.
Prophet Isaiah cried out, “Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence” (Isaiah 64:1). God is looking for people who will pray without ceasing that He may tear the heavens open and intervene in the limitations of men and in the precarious situations that bedevil societies, families and individuals.
Precious one, it’s time to lift up our hands in prayer to God always like never before in order to thwart all the plans of the enemy and to secure all the victories available to us.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive grace to pray always, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Don’t Despise the Little

By Archbishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 96 (06/04/2022)
Matthew 25:23 (CEB) “His master replied, ‘Well done! You are a good and faithful servant. You’ve been faithful over a little. I’ll put you in charge of much. Come, celebrate with me.’
For the servant, in the opening scripture, to have been faithful over a little, he must have used the little wisely, and for him to have used the little wisely, he must have planned well with the little he had. As Christians, we must learn to plan and be productive with little because God is testing faithfulness.
You may have to start with small plans because of the little you have but remember, Moses had just a rod in his hand and that was what God used to perform wonders in the land of Egypt. Don’t despise the little you have.
Here are three things to do with the little you have:
1. Let God be your hope and confidence.
Jeremiah 17:7 (NLT) “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.”
Most often than not, we become discouraged with the little we have thinking it will amount to nothing. But we should have hope and confidence in the Lord with the little we have because He is the One who is able to feed multitudes with just a little boy’s lunch. God will make your dreams and plans come to pass no matter how little you begin.
2. Plan well with all diligence.
Proverbs 21:5 (NLT) “Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.”
The above scripture says that good planning and hard work lead to prosperity. Irrespective of how small your plans may be, they must be good plans. And not only that but you must work at it with all diligence to ensure the successful implementation of your plans.
3. Ensure to take advice.
Proverbs 20:18 (CEB) “Plans are firmed up by advice; wage wars with good guidance.”
Seeking good counsel and guidance is always key when planning no matter how small your plans may be. Your plans can only be firm and established when the right counsel is sought for. Therefore, ensure to take advice when planning with little.
Precious one, to be found faithful with the little you have, ensure to take advice, and let God be your hope and confidence. However, you must plan well with all diligence.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask for the grace to be faithful over little for abundance, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Give Full Time to God

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 95 (05/04/2022)
James 5:16 “…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
Fervent prayer is prayer exhibiting great intensity of feeling. However, without concentration, our prayer cannot retain fervency as Apostle James teaches.
Many people do not concentrate while praying. They allow themselves to be distracted by their phone or television or by straying thoughts or some other errand. Prayer is sacred fellowship with a holy and loving God. Therefore, give full time to God by concentrating while praying.
Here are three reasons for concentrating while praying:
1. God is a jealous God.
Deuteronomy 4:24 “For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.”
God is a jealous God whose great love for you burns like a consuming fire. He cherishes every moment of time you specially appoint to be with Him. As much as possible, protect your schedule with the Lord from distractions and interruptions so that the fervency of your fellowship through concentration will not be lost. Give unto God what belongs to God.
2. God requires your full attention.
Jeremiah 29:13 “And ye shall seek me, and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
God needs your attention in prayer. In the above scripture, it is clear that when you seek God with all your heart, without divided attention, then you shall find Him. Sometimes, God reveals something to us in prayer and we forget it almost immediately because we were distracted, and trying to get it back proves difficult.
3. Your honour and answers to prayer depend on your focus on God.
Psalms 91:14-15 (NKJV) “Because he has set his love upon Me…He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him.”
It is obvious that when you love someone, your focus will be on that person. Therefore, to receive honour and answers to your prayers, focus and set your love upon God in prayer as you love and adore Him.
Precious one, maintain the fervency of prayer as you concentrate while praying because God is a jealous God who requires your full attention and love on Him in prayer.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive strength to overcome all distractions to my fellowship with You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Bridle Your Tongue

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 94 (04/04/2022)
James 3:5 (NLT) “So also, the tongue is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do. A tiny spark can set a great forest on fire.”
The ability to think and to speak is a divine attribute and gift that God has bestowed on certain of His creation distinguishing them from lower classes of creation. The Bible teaches that this gift wields so much power that in its corrupted form, it can set worlds and destines on fire with just a little spark.
Sometimes, the environment we find ourselves in can be so hostile that we are forced to make certain utterances that can affect us. Nonetheless, God still wants us to bridle or control our tongues.
Here are three reasons why we must control the tongue:
1. Words have preserving or destroying power.
Proverbs 13:3 “He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.”
Many people have ruined their lives and ran into unspeakable troubles and problems by not controlling their tongues at the workplace, while others have been elevated based on what they said. Bridle your tongue and preserve your life and opportunities.
2. Words affect the health of our bodies.
Proverbs 16:24 “Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.”
Good health is not only from body exercise, eating healthy foods or taking enough rest but also from pleasant words which give health to the bones. The body responds negatively to frequent words of fear, anxiety and weakness, therefore, bridle your tongue for good health.
3. Our words will be judged.
Matthew 12:36 “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”
We will be judged by what we say. Our words must be measured and well thought through before being spoken because we are going to give an account of them someday. Therefore, be careful of what you say and bridle your tongue.
Precious one, remember that “the tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.” (Proverbs 18:21 NLT)
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I yield my tongue to Your grace and Spirit so that it will be seasoned to edify myself and others, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be Watchful of Evil-doers

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare

Day 93 (03/04/2022)

Philippians 3:2 (NLT) “Watch out for those dogs, those wicked men and their evil deeds, those mutilators who say you must be circumcised to be saved.”

We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and as a result, God doesn’t want us to involve ourselves with evil. The opening scripture says we should be watchful of evil-doers. In other words, we should be mindful of evil-doers around us, especially those who seek to pervert the way of righteousness and influence others to follow them. God wants us to grow in Him in all things but as long as we allow evil-doers to have their way, they will lead many astray.

Here are three reasons why we must be watchful of evil-doers:

1. They will accuse you of wrongdoing.

1 Peter 2:12 (NLT) “Be careful how you live among your unbelieving neighbours. Even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honourable behaviour, and they will believe and give honour to God when he comes to judge the world.”

The evil person will always accuse you of wrongdoing because you don’t walk with them in their evil ways. Just as Psalms 1:1 says “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.”

2. They will hinder your obedience to God’s commands.

Psalms 119:115 (NLT) “Get out of my life, you evil-minded people, for I intend to obey the commands of my God.”

The Psalmist clearly says that an evil person is an impediment to the obedience of God’s commandments, thus, we ought to be careful of such people. Let no evil person prevent you from or lure you into not obeying God’s commands.

3. The face of the Lord is against evil-doers.

Psalms 34:16 “The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.”

God’s anger is upon the deeds of the wicked. He turns His face away from them and wipes them off from the surface of the earth when they reject His mercies and increase in their wickedness. Thus, we must not be partakers with them.

Precious one, be watchful of evil-doers because they will accuse you of wrongdoing, they will prevent you from obeying the commandments of God and remember that the face of the Lord is against evil-doers.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, let the deeds of evil people around me be exposed and put to shame, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Take Heed To Discipline

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 92 (02/04/2022)
2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV) “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
The Spirit of God in us helps us to be disciplined in all aspects of our lives, therefore, we must take heed to discipline. Every child of God can be disciplined. We just have to allow ourselves to be influenced by the Spirit of God.
Take heed to whichever area in your life that you want to experience discipline because you already have the Spirit of God which will help you to be disciplined.
Here are three reasons why you must heed to discipline:
1. It shows the way to life.
Proverbs 10:17 (NIV) “Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.”
When you don’t take heed to discipline, you are indirectly ignoring corrections and imagine such a person leading as the head of a company or a leader, he will surely lead others astray. But when you take heed to discipline, it will show you the way to life.
2. A disciplined person is knowledgeable.
Proverbs 12:1 “Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.”
Whoever takes heed to discipline is knowledgeable. Because it helps you to correct the wrongs and rewrite them. As you apply the corrected wrongs in your life, you add to your knowledge.
3. It is a sign of love.
Revelation 3:19 “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.”
So long as the love of God endures for His children, He will always discipline us. The Lord disciplines those He loves. It means that once you are not disciplined as a child of God, then you are truly not His. Hence, the one God loves will surely be disciplined; therefore, take heed to it.
Precious one, take heed to discipline because it shows the way to life, it is a sign of love and a disciplined person is knowledgeable.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive wisdom as I take heed to discipline, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be in Good Health

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 91 (01/04/2022)
3 John 1:2 (AMP) “Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].”
It is God’s will for His children to be healthy wholly, that is, spirit, soul and body. And that is why He provides healing for us. However, we also have a choice and responsibility in keeping our bodies healthy. The Word of God reveals God’s wisdom for us to practically live a life of health and wellness.
Here are three things we must do to be in good health:
1. Work well and rest well.
“Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.” Exodus 34:21
After working hard each day and week, one must retire to have good rest for the body to recover and refresh itself. Long periods of work without proper or sufficient rest will break down the body eventually. Also, having an appropriate form and measure of recreation or entertainment relaxes and refreshes the mind which operates your body.
2. Be joyful every day.
“A cheerful disposition is good for your health; gloom and doom leave you bone-tired.” Proverbs 17:22 (MSG)
We can choose to be joyful always as we think on the good promises of God. Being joyful should not be a once-in-a-while thing because something good happened to you, but it should be an everyday disposition irrespective of what is happening or not happening. The Bible says this is good for your health.
3. Feed on the Word daily.
“Dear friend, listen well to my words; tune your ears to my voice. Keep my message in plain view at all times. Concentrate! Learn it by heart! Those who discover these words live, really live; body and soul, they’re bursting with health.” Proverbs 4:20-22 (MSG)
Jesus said that man must not live by food alone but by the Word of God. This means that God’s Word keeps our spirit, soul and body in good shape. The Word is therapeutic to the bodies of those who feed on it and it causes their health to burst forth.
Precious one, choose to be in good health by taking good rest after hard work, by being joyful always and by daily feeding on God’s Word.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for wisdom to be in good health always, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Revive Your Prayer Life

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 90 (31/03/2022)
Matthew 21:22 (NIV) “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
How do you expect to keep receiving from God when you no longer labour in prayer. It is said that “silence is golden” but this does not apply to your prayer life. Never put your prayer life on silent mode as long as you want to keep receiving from God.
Some people no longer pray because they may have secured that marriage, or they may have too many burdens on them, or they may have broken through already in life. However, prayer must be sustained whether you have broken through or not. Remember, you have to sustain your breakthrough, ministry, job, family and the nation by prayer, so I urge you to revive your prayer life.
Here are three ways to revive your prayer life:
1. Ask the Holy Spirit to quicken you.
“So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought…” – Romans 8:26 (AMPC)
The Spirit of God is a quickening spirit—He gives life and strength when we are weak and helpless. As you cry out to the Holy Spirit for help, He will revive your prayer life.
2. Let God’s Word abide in you.
John 15:7 says, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
You must constantly feed your soul with God’s Word in order to revive your prayer life. Most people can’t pray again because they are empty of God’s Word. Prayer must be made based on Scriptures and so long as you are lacking in the Word, your prayer life will dry out.
3. Purify your heart.
James 4:8 (ESV) “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
You need to purify your heart in order to revive your prayer life. Some people are still living in sin, hence, they cannot pray. Purify your hearts from evil and draw near to God, and your prayer life will be revived.
Precious one, to revive your prayer life, ask the Holy Spirit for help, let God’s Word abide in you and purify your heart from evil.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask for a revival in my prayer life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Apply Diligence

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 89 (30/03/2022)
Proverbs 12:24 (AMP) “The hand of the diligent will rule, but the slothful will be put to forced labor.”
Diligence is not just working hard. It is also working with high concentration and focus, being creative, innovative, patient and committed to details. It is an attitude most people find difficult to achieve with all the distractions of social media and the love for pleasure. However, to be successful in any endeavour, diligence should be one of our top qualities. It allows us to accomplish more without sacrificing quality.
Here are three areas of our lives to apply diligence:
1. Protecting our hearts.
The Bible says, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:23) Your heart is the seat of your beliefs, values and mindset. How you live your life is influenced by the knowledge in your heart. Therefore being diligent in keeping your heart is being careful of the information you feed on. It will determine the quality of the outcomes of your life. Meditating on God’s Word will produce good life from your heart.
2. Obeying God.
“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth” Deuteronomy 28:1
Hearing and obeying God is the foundation of our faith, determining the quality of our Christian lives. Diligence in obeying God means carefully noting instructions from personal study, from the preachings of your pastor and the promptings of the Holy Spirit and obeying them fully and promptly.
3. Rising up early.
“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” – Mark 1:35
Being diligent means not being lazy but rising up early to do more tasks each day. Rising up early also helps you to pray, read your Bible and receive grace from God for the day’s work.
Precious one, you are destined to be a success in life if you can become diligent in keeping your heart, obeying God and in rising up early.
Prayer. Heavenly Father, help me to be diligent so that I can fulfil Your call on my life and impact my generation for You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Learn to Budget

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 88 (29/03/2022)
Ephesians 5:15-16 (NIV) “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”
Living wisely also involves living within your means and making good use of the resources at your disposal today. One is living within their means when what they spend is less than their income.
One major trait of most millionaires, according to the book “The millionaire next door” is that they live within their means, which is in contrast to the picture of lavish living painted of them. One tool that has helped these millionaires live within their means is budgeting. A budget for an individual refers to a financial plan of projected income and expenses.
Here are there things to do when budgeting:
  1. Get a plan.
“But those who are noble plan noble things, and by noble things they stand.” Isaiah 32:8 (NRSV)
Planning is making a decision about what to do. It is important for the believer to have a plan but we must rely on the Lord to help us come out with this plan. The Lord admonishes us to put our trust in Him with all our hearts so that He can direct our path. Joseph’s plan of saving 20 percent of Egypt’s produce in the seven years of abundance was enough to save the world from famine.
  1. Be specific.
“If one of you is planning to build a tower, you sit down first and figure out what it will cost, to see if you have enough money to finish the job.” Luke 14:28 (GNT)
Sitting down and calculating your income level and equating it to how well it can meet the needs of your family is very important. By so doing, you can be specific on where to channel your resources that will meet your needs and that of your family.
  1. Be flexible.
“Blessed [happy, prosperous, to be admired] is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my doorposts.” Proverbs 8:34 (AMP)
Being flexible implies that one is able to adapt to new, different or changing requirements. We must be watchful in these changing times in order to follow new instructions or change direction as the Lord leads concerning our finances. The widow of Zarephath altered her plan by feeding the prophet on his instructions and she had enough until the famine ended. At times, altering your plan based on new information can help you do better.
Precious one, in budgeting, you must be specific in addressing needs and deferring wants. Let your plan be guided by the Lord while you remain flexible without overburdening your finances.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to plan my finances wisely through disciplined budgeting, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Your Time Will Come

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 87 (28/03/2022)
Psalms 105:17-19 (WEB) “He sent a man before them. Joseph was sold for a slave. They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons, until the time that his word happened, and Yahweh’s word proved him true.”
It may have seemed erroneous for Joseph to have told his dreams to his brothers but little did they know that God had set in motion the fulfilment of the high calling upon the life of the boy they despised and sold out because of his dreams.
Joseph never gave up hope but prepared adequately by faithfully using the skill of management and the gift of dream interpretation that God had given him. Finally, his time of honour came as he stood before Pharaoh who conferred upon him the highest honour available.
Here are three things that God will do when your time comes:
1. God will provoke your recommendation.
Genesis 41:12-14 (NKJV) “Now there was a young Hebrew man with us there…And we told him, and he interpreted our dreams for us…Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh.”
Because the chief cupbearer of Pharaoh remembered Joseph’s ability to interpret dreams, Joseph was recommended to do the same for Pharaoh. As you remain faithful in little things, you will be recommended for greater things when your time comes.
2. God will get you prepared in Him.
Genesis 41:16(NKJV) “So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”
Joseph was able to confidently tell Pharaoh that God would interpret his dreams for him because Joseph knew God had prepared and trained him for the task ahead.
3. God will ensure that you are needed.
Genesis 41:32 (NKJV) “And the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.”
God will orchestrate circumstances in such a way that only you can occupy the room created to fulfil divine destiny. When your time comes, no one can subvert your destiny because it is established by God.
Precious one, remember that your time will come when God’s Word is proven true in your life. Remain hopeful, strong and confident in the Lord.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You that Your Word for my life is working out everything for my good, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You Can Overcome

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 86 (27/03/2022)
1 Corinthians 10:13 (NLT) “But remember that the temptations that come into your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it.”
The temptations we experience are not different from what others experience. In fact, it is not beyond our strength to overcome them. The opening scripture clearly tells us that God even makes a way of escape out of the temptation so that you will not give in to it.
When we stand and overcome temptations, it adds to the score of our spiritual maturity and strength. God rewards us and entrusts us with greater levels of responsibility and blessing.
Here are three ways to overcome temptation:
1. Let the Word of God dwell in you richly.
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…”
God’s Word is paramount to overcoming temptations. The more the Word in us, the more the resisting power we have. Because Jesus was rich in the Word, when Satan tempted Him three times, He resisted with the Word three times. Ensure you are rich in God’s Word by meditating upon it day and night.
2. Be purposed to do the right thing.
Genesis 4:7 (CEB) “If you do the right thing, won’t you be accepted? But if you don’t do the right thing, sin will be waiting at the door ready to strike! It will entice you, but you must rule over it.”
It is important to be purposed to do the right thing even before temptations come. Sin is always ready at the door to strike and to entice, so an undecided person will even miss the way of escape that God provides because he will stay too long in the temptation and then it takes mastery over him.
3. Flee sexual sins.
1 Corinthians 6:18 (NKJV) “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.”
Don’t think you are immune to sexual sins. You must run away or flee from it. Though Joseph was full of the Spirit of God, he still had to flee when he encountered Potiphar’s wife. The instruction is to flee from sexual temptations, not anything other than that.
Precious one, to overcome temptation, let the Word of God dwell in you richly, purpose in your heart to do the right thing and flee sexual sins.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for the strength and wisdom to overcome temptations, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Remember Lot’s Wife

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 85 (26/03/2022)
Luke 17:32 “Remember Lot’s wife.”
Though little is known about Lot’s wife, there is much to learn about her. God’s judgment upon Sodom was so urgent that the angel of the Lord had to force Lot’s family out of Sodom to seek refuge elsewhere, but Lot’s wife could not make it to safety. She turned into a pillar of salt on her way because her heart clung to the city that God had sentenced to destruction.
God may want to move a person, family, church or nation from one place or level to another but there will be those who will be resistant to change and to the move of God. Such persons will miss God’s best and will be stagnant in life. Remember Lot’s wife.
Here are three lessons to learn from Lot’s wife:
1. She had an unbelieving heart.
Hebrews 3:12 (NIV) “See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.”
Lot was a very rich and wealthy man and that was why he and Abraham agreed to separate. Lot’s wife could not accept that she was leaving all the possessions behind and going with nothing. She didn’t believe that the God who was delivering them from destruction could also restore everything they were losing. So she turned away from the living God.
2. She refused to pay attention.
Hebrews 2:1 (ESV) “Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.”
The angel of the Lord told them not to look back but Lot’s wife did not pay attention to this instruction. Refusing to pay attention to God’s instructions will cause you to drift away from God’s grace. Pay attention to what God says regarding your life so you don’t miss His grace and purpose.
3. She allowed fear to grip her.
2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
The thought of losing everything you’ve worked for in your life and starting all over again can be frightening. The thought of losing the security and comfort you have now to respond to God’s call is challenging. We must however not allow fear to rob us of God’s plan for us because God is a good God.
Precious one, remember that God is always in your best interest. No matter how uncertain God’s plan may seem, believe in Him completely, pay attention to His Word and don’t let fear in. Remember Lot’s wife!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, let anything which will distract me from following Your plan be destroyed, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be Wise to Invest

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 84 (25/03/2022)
Ecclesiastes 11:1 “Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.”
The opening scripture admonishes us to make investments into our future because after some time, “thou shalt find it”—meaning that the benefits of investment are in the future. It puts us in a better position in the future.
Many people find it difficult to invest because they feel they don’t have enough to cater for themselves and save at the same time. This is the more reason why you should be wise to invest.
Here are three things to consider about investing:
1. Failure to invest will cause you to be a servant to the lender.
Proverbs 22:7 (NLT) says, “Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender.”
If you fail to invest a portion of your earnings, you will keep being a servant to the lender and the rich will keep ruling over you because you acted unwisely.
2. Invest out of what you receive.
Proverbs 31:16 (NIV) says, “She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.”
Don’t wait to receive more before you start investing. Rather, develop the practice of investing part of every income. There is a saying “little drops of water make a mighty ocean”. So start little by little with whatever you receive.
3. It is wisdom to invest.
Proverbs 21:20 (NIV) says, “The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.”
The one who invests is considered to be wise. Wisdom approves of investing while foolishness advises spending all. Don’t spend all you have like the prodigal son but be wise to invest.
Precious one, be wise to invest because failure to invest will cause you to be a servant to the lender. Invest out of the little you receive and remember it is the wise who always make investments.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help and guide me by Your wisdom to invest into my future, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Have Faith in God

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 83 (24/03/2022)
Mark 11:22 “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”
Most people believe in the existence of God and in the omnipotence of God. Believers, especially, are more acquainted with the loving heavenly Father, who is almighty and willing to come to the aid of His people with His great power. And yet many struggle with their faith in God.
The disciples of Jesus were aware that God did great wonders through great prophets like Moses but didn’t think He would do great things through ordinary people. And so Jesus taught them to have faith in God to produce great works. On the other hand, lack of faith would result in being defeated by circumstances beyond our control.
Here are three signs of lack of faith in God:
  1. Lack of confidence in God’s Word.
In Luke 8, the disciples encountered a storm of wind on the lake as they journeyed to another town. Prior to their trip, Jesus had said to them, “Let us go over unto the other side of the lake” (Luke 18:22). When the storm arose, they were scared to death because they had forgotten that God’s Word to cross over to the other side had inherent power to protect and secure them to the point of fulfilment.
  1. Lack of confidence in His silence.
“…And they launched forth. But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake…” – Luke 8:22-23
Jesus had given them His Word but during the journey He slept—He was silent. God sometimes remains silent during our trials and difficulty because before our trial He gave us His Word and He doesn’t need to repeat Himself. He speaks once, it is for us to hear it twice that power belongs to God.
  1. Negative confession.
“…and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish…” – Luke 8:23-24
They had Jesus in their boat and they confidently said to Him that they were perishing and defeated and drowning in life. They failed to acknowledge the essence of His Word, His presence and His power. As a result, Jesus had to look them in the face and ask, “Where is your faith?” (vs 25)
Precious one, whatever be the storm you’re experiencing, Jesus is also asking you, “Where is your faith?” Have faith in God and you’ll come out victorious!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I hold and maintain my faith in You in all circumstances by the power of Your Spirit, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Open Up and Invite Jesus

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 82 (23/03/2022)
Revelation 3:20 (NKJV) “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me.”
After we receive the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, we become beloved children of God. However, Jesus still waits and urges us to invite Him into every area of our lives. He doesn’t lord His Lordship over us forcefully. He only enters where He is invited and celebrated. And when He comes in, He comes with the fullness of His grace and glory and shares it with His host.
Here are three areas of your life to make room for Jesus:
  1. In your family
“For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything” Hebrews 3:4 (NIV). Christ should be the centre of your home and family’s life. As you prayerfully seek His wisdom and follow His direction in unity, He is able to fulfil His purpose for your lives.
  1. In your relationships
“Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character”(1 Corinthians 15:33, NIV). You become like the company you keep. When you maintain relationships with worldly people, you run the risk of being influenced by their habits and developing their character. It is important to surround yourself with godly people, who will help you grow in the faith. By all means, you should continue to share the Good News of Christ with those who are not saved.
  1. In your finances
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon” (Matthew 6:21, 24). Make a decision to set your heart on God and manage your finances in the way that He has directed. Making room for Jesus involves knowing what He has said concerning the use of your money and obeying it.
Precious one, decide to make room for Jesus in your family, relationships and finances today! And you will see His glory in your life.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I open the door of my home, relationships and finances to the Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Ask For The Nations

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 81 (22/03/2022)
Psalms 2:8 (NKJV) “Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.”
Some years ago, after I had come into full-time ministry, I tirelessly cried and wept asking God to give me the nations. In 1983, I heard the audible voice of God which said to me, “My boy Charles, I send you out as I sent Moses; go and I will put my words in your lips and reach the world for me. I give unto you power over demons and principalities, heal the sick, raise the dead, preach the Kingdom”. I obeyed and God confirmed His Word.
Over the years, I have come to understand how important it is for us to reach the unreached. As believers, we owe our generation the Gospel and it will take nothing but the love and compassion of God to move us to reach the unreached.
Here are three reasons why we must ask for the nations:
  1. Jesus charged us to reach the world for Him. Jesus Christ commanded us to go into the ends for the world and reach the unreached. In Matthew 28:16-20 Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” It is a priority because Christ commanded it and we must do it.
  1. Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.
There is only one way to heaven—Jesus; and there is one job to do: proclaim Jesus.
True salvation is exclusive to Christianity through the name of Jesus Christ, and He could not have made it clearer when He said in John 14:6 (NKJV) “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Let’s go out today and tell the world of the only way.
  1. It brings eternal reward.
Apostle Paul believed that reaching out with the gospel of Christ would result in great eternal reward. He said in 1 Thessalonians 2:19 (AMP), “For who is [the object of] our hope or joy or our victor’s wreath of triumphant celebration [when we stand] in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? Is it not you?” Great eternal rewards await every soul winner.
Precious one, we must with earnestness respond to the command of our Lord Jesus to reach out to the world with the only gospel with the power to save and to forgive sins. And we shall receive our eternal rewards.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, may many come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as I reach out to the unreached, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be a Leader of Excellence

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 80 (21/03/2022)
1 Kings 4:30 “And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country and all the wisdom of Egypt.”
Our opening scripture shows the true essence of excellence. Though the children of the east country and Egypt exhibited some degree of wisdom, Solomon’s wisdom excelled them all. Excellence is being exceptional and outstanding in one’s chosen field. In leadership, it is to be superior in quality and performance. Leadership performance and decisions determine the quality of life in organizations and nations, and also affects many lives, thus, the need for the attainment of excellence in leadership.
Here are three laws of excellence that make high performing leaders:
  1. The law of education
“The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger.” Proverbs 24:5 (NLT)
One trait of strong leaders is that they have acquired much knowledge relevant to their field. Their expertise or specialised knowledge drives their high performance. Education—formal or informal—increases a leader’s performance.
2. The law of discipline
“All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize.” – 1 Corinthians 9:25 (NLT)
Discipline is the attitudinal virtue that makes people obey the mind instead of the flesh. A  disciplined person pays the price to put the flesh under control in order to do what is right. The prize for excellence in leadership is achieved by a life of discipline to maintain consistency in laudable results.
  1. The law of competence
“Do you see any truly competent workers? They will serve kings rather than working for ordinary people.” Proverbs 22:29 (NLT)
The competence of a leader determines the quality of his delivery, which also determines the calibre of audience, clients or followers he receives.
Precious one, in whatever capacity you may be blessed to lead, pursue excellence by acquiring knowledge through constant learning and discipline and improving your competence.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me excel as a leader to bring glory to Your name, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Honour of Mordecai

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 79 (20/03/2022)
Esther 6:10 “Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the king’s gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken.”
Most often than not, we admire and praise people who are honoured, but we forget that the honour never came on a silver platter and that there were some driving forces that were activated for such an honour to be accorded them.
In the opening scripture, we are told that Mordecai was honoured. God will also honour you because it belongs to the people of God. But remember, honour does not just knock at our door; it must be provoked.
Here are three things Mordecai did:
1. He did something with his life.
“In those days, while Mordecai sat within the king’s gate, two of the king’s eunuchs, Bigthan and Teresh, doorkeepers, became furious and sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus.” – Esther 2:21 (NKJV)
Mordecai was not idle, he was a gatekeeper at the king’s palace. Have something to do with your life. Don’t be lazy but work with your hands because your honour may come through the opportunities created by your work.
2. He acted nobly and honourably.
“What honour and recognition has Mordecai received for this?” the king asked. “Nothing has been done for him,” his attendants answered.” – Esther 6:3 (NIV)
Mordecai was remembered because in the line of duty, he revealed an assassination attempt that saved the king’s life. He acted nobly (with high moral principles) and honourably (deserving honour). Honour responds to honourable deeds. And that is why God will not forget your work and labour of love which you’ve done in His kingdom.
3. He fasted and prayed.
“Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do…” – Esther 4:16 (NLT)
Though Mordecai was due for honour, he was rather facing total annihilation with his people but they fasted and prayed, and God turned their captivity around and Mordecai was honoured. Your long-awaited honour may be stirred up by fasting, so go on your knees and fast. God will surely come through for you.
Precious one, mark yourself out for honour by acting nobly and honourably in your line of work. With some fasting and prayer also, doors of honour will open to you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, let me be honoured this year, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Exercise Your Body Regularly

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 78 (19/03/2022)
1 Timothy 4:8 (NET) “For physical exercise has some value…”
“Time and health are two precious assets that we don’t recognize and appreciate until they have been depleted.”  – Denis Waitley
The opening scripture acknowledges that physical exercise contributes value to our health; therefore, we cannot ignore whatever measure of value regular bodily exercise provides.
Wellness is life because when one is weak, one cannot walk as he ought to, one cannot eat well as he ought to, one cannot work as he ought to and one cannot worship God as he ought to. This means that we need to stay healthy and strong at all times by ensuring regular body exercise.
Here are three reasons to exercise regularly:
1. God needs strong and healthy people to advance His cause.
Ezekiel 30:24 says, “And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand…”
Have you ever wondered why companies after employing you demand you go for a medical check-up? This is because they need healthy and strong people to work with. In the same way, God needs strong and healthy people to advance His cause so exercise your body to stay fit.
2. Exercise glorifies God.
1 Corinthians 10:31 says, “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
Whatever we do in life as children of God must be done to glorify God. When we exercise our body regularly, we are being good stewards of the body God has given us, thereby, glorifying God in our bodies.
3. Prevention is better than cure.
“Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself…”
– Proverbs 6:3 KJV
There are essential things in life that must be done now to prevent unpleasant conditions in the future. Regular exercise is one such thing. Because certain health conditions are irreversible but can only be managed at great cost, it is said that “Prevention is better than cure”.
Precious one, exercise your body regularly because God needs strong and healthy people to advance His cause, and because He must be glorified in your body. Don’t also forget that prevention is better than cure.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me with wisdom to stay fit and strong, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You Shall Not Suffer the Heat

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 78 (18/03/2022)
Jeremiah 17:7-8 “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters…and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green…”
Crises are an inevitable part of life, and it is obvious that things are getting worse and worse with the economy. No one seems to have an answer to the economic situation or the power to control it.
But the children of God have an advantage in any crisis that arises. If we lean on God and depend on our heavenly kingdom, then, as the opening verse says, we shall not feel it when heat comes and we shall continue to flourish.
Here are three things to note in the midst of the economic heat:
  1. God always makes a way out.
No crisis is new. God has been around for long, so He’s certainly familiar with all human difficulties, and He is able to make a way out for those who depend on Him and to deliver them. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, “…He will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out.”
  1. Walk in thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is a powerful prayer to offer when we go through crises. Many Christians instead of thanking God in crisis, resort to grumbling. When we grumble in our crisis it profits us nothing. Thanksgiving is God’s prescription for us in hardship. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
  1. Be careful not to depend on people.
“Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.” – Jeremiah 17:5 KJV
It is surprising to see how so many people put their confidence in governments, thinking that the government can make life easier for them; yet the trend of history shows that that thought is a fallacy. Look to God and not to men and you will “not see when heat cometh”.
Precious one, it is our heritage not to experience hardship to the degree that the world experiences. Therefore, don’t put confidence in men, walk in thanksgiving and know that God will make a way out for you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I lift up my hands to You, declaring my total dependence on You in these times of economic heat, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be Strong in the Lord

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 76 (17/03/2022)
Ephesians 6:10 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might”
We live in a world full of evil, darkness and tribulation but at the same time, the Bible tells us that God’s goodness and glory and light fills the earth. It doesn’t matter what the devil is doing, the light of God’s kingdom is shining brighter and stronger on the earth.
Apostle Paul, therefore, admonishes us to be strong in the Lord and in His power that is available to us to help us. We are not supposed to fight or defend ourselves in our own strength. God’s children are called to depend on heavenly power—the Lord’s power.
Here are three aspects of the Lord’s power we must be strong in:
  1. The Lord is our Shepherd.
The Psalmist said, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)
The Lord is our Great Shepherd who is great in power to supply all our needs such that we will lack nothing. He provides for our every need so that we are sanctified and preserved wholly: spirit, soul and body. Therefore, be strong in the power of the Lord our Shepherd.
  1. The Lord is the strength of our lives.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” – Psalm 27:1
The Psalmist declared that because the Lord was the strength of his life, he would not be afraid of his wicked enemies who rose up against him. He expressed total confidence in the Lord in the midst of his enemies. The Lord shall keep you safe also from all the evil and wicked forces that surround you. He is your strength.
  1. The Lord is our Teacher and Guide.
“Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.” – Psalm 27:11
We can only experience the blessings and protection of God when we walk in His ways. Sometimes, we fail in walking in His ways, but this means that we should yield our heart and mind more to Him, and He’ll teach us and guide us in His way at every moment so that we’ll not be exposed to the enemy.
Precious one, as we fellowship and get closer to the Lord on a personal level, we will develop the capacity to be strong in the Lord and to experience the fullness of His might in our lives.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I give thanks to You; I declare that You are the Lord my Shepherd, my Strength and my Teacher and Guide, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Plan Ahead of Time

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 75 (16/03/2022)
Proverbs 24:27 (NLT) “Develop your business first before building your house.”
The scripture above instructs to “Develop your business first before building your house”. This means that you need to have the outline of your dreams and aspirations drawn out clearly and envisaged first before setting out to achieve them.
Many fail to plan because they have not discovered the wisdom and skill of planning. Planning ahead of time is key to having a successful future and to sustaining it so never lose sight of planning ahead of time.
Here are three things to note about planning ahead of time:
1. Planning makes you grow in wisdom.
Psalms 90:12 (NLT) says, “Teach us to make the most of our time, so that we may grow in wisdom.”
Adequate planning towards your dreams and aspirations will cause you to grow in wisdom. This is because planning makes you think to know what you ought to do and what not to do so that you don’t waste time when you begin your pursuit. It helps you anticipate and provide remedies for contingencies, so you are not caught off guard when they happen.
2. Plans help to keep you on the right path.
Proverbs 19:2 (NLT) says, “Zeal without knowledge is not good; a person who moves too quickly may go the wrong way.”
If you start embarking on what you desire to achieve in life without planning first, you may go the wrong way in life because of distractions. Plan ahead to layout the right path before you, before pursuing your dreams.
3. Let your plans be in order.
1 Corinthians 14:40 (NLT) says, “But be sure that everything is done properly and in order.”
Plans are good but if they are not done properly and orderly, they are not beneficial. Plans must be relevant to what you are pursuing and must be clearly laid out in an order that you can easily follow and run with direction and certainty. Proper plans define your priorities so that you “develop your business first before building your house.”
Precious one, develop the skill of planning because it will make you grow in wisdom and help you to keep the right path of your pursuit. and let your plans be in order.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive the insight and foresight of wisdom to plan properly for my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let Your Heart Get Knowledge

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 74 (15/03/2022)
Proverbs 18:15 “The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.”
We need to constantly seek to grow in the knowledge of God. Life is always progressive and so must be the knowledge of God in our lives. You cannot expect progress in your spiritual life, your career, family or ministry when you are not increasing in the knowledge of God. It is prudent or wise to pursue knowledge and to get it for yourself.
Here are three reasons why you must get the knowledge of God:
1. It signifies your reverence for the Lord.
Proverbs 1:7 says, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
A believer who loves to know the Lord more through His Word shows they fear the Lord, they have reverence for Him. It is the fear of the Lord that drives us to know His ways and will so that we can walk in them to please Him. The Word carries the Spirit of the Lord and those filled with the knowledge of God will naturally show reverence in all things.
2. It gives good judgment.
Proverbs 9:10 (NLT) says, “Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.”
When you are rooted in the knowledge of God, it produces in your good judgment. God’s Word in you gives you the ability to discern between right and wrong and the ability to make the right decisions. It clears all confusion in the issues of life.
3. It is an attribute of discipline.
Proverbs 12:1 (CEB) “Those who love discipline love knowledge, and those who hate correction are stupid.”
When you love discipline, it is a sign that you seek and love knowledge. It is difficult to forget something you learn through experience. Discipline gives a form of knowledge by experience and those who refuse discipline or react to it negatively miss out on the lessons that could have been engraved on their heart.
Precious one, love and pursue the knowledge of God because it proves your reverence for the Lord, it gives good judgement and it helps you receive discipline.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, quicken me by Your Spirit and refresh my desire for the knowledge of God, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be a Worker of Excellence

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 73 (14/03/2022)
Daniel 6:3 “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.”
Excellence is being the best of a kind.  Pursuing excellence in your work makes you exceptionally useful to your organization. It leads to promotion, greater impact and better remuneration. Our God is an excellent God and He demands excellence from we His children wherever we find ourselves.
Here are three ways to pursue excellence:
  1. Have an excellence mentality.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” – Proverbs 23:7
An excellence mentality is a mind committed to being the best in what you do. The people with a mentality of excellence make sure that the product of their hands stands out in comparison to others. They are normally people who love what they do and also work with enthusiasm.
  1. Focus on one thing.
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.” – Philippians 3:13
It is said that if you choose to be a jack of all trades, you become a master of none. People of excellence focus their time, resources and energy on their core calling and assignment in life and they get better at it.
  1. Keep working on yourself daily.
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” – Luke 2:52 KJV
Even Jesus increased in the virtues of excellence daily. Mike Murdock says, “Successful people do habitually what unsuccessful people do occasionally”. To excel you must do constant self-evaluation and self-improvement on yourself daily.
Precious one, we live in times when there is stiff competition in every field of endeavour; this makes excellence non-negotiable for success. So choose to be an excellent worker by having an excellence mentality, focusing on your core mandate, while improving upon yourself daily.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, give me the spirit of excellence, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Pride Precedes a Fall

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 72 (13/03/2022)
James 4:6 “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
The proud don’t know they are proud and they hardly ever listen because they are deafened by their arrogance. They can’t see the truth even if there is clear evidence. They eventually end up in a predictable destination, a  huge fall. Here are 3 dangers of being proud :
  1. Pride prepares you for shame
The most predictable thing on earth is “shame”, which comes after pride. When pride appears, shame accompanies it, but humility is present with wisdom. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 11:2 “When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.”
  1. With pride, you can never win
With pride comes no victory. The Bible says in Psalm149:4 (GNB), “The Lord takes pleasure in His people; He honours the humble with victory.”Do you want to be victorious? Walk-in humility for the LORD takes delight in the humble and he crowns them with victory.
  1. Pride is an abomination to the Lord
Who wants to be an abomination to the Lord? Pride is an abomination to the Lord because the Bible tells us in Proverbs 16:5 that, “Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.”
Pride is something all Christians must stay away from. Precious one, stay humble today and you will experience victories and divine elevation.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, wash out every particle of pride in me and help me stay humble in Jesus’ name Amen.

Reach Out to Lost Souls

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 71 (12/03/2022)
Luke 19:10 “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost. That was His ultimate goal for coming to the earth, thus, we shouldn’t make His coming be in vain. God wants us to reach out to the lost just as His Son did.
Never assume everyone is saved. Sometimes, until you engage someone in a conversation, you will never know that he or she is lost. God has called us to reach out to the lost. The harvest is plenty but the labourers for the work are few. Avail yourself for this cause because souls are perishing.
Here are three things that reaching out to lost souls will cause:
1. There is joy and celebration when the lost is found.
Luke 15:32 (NLT) says, “We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!'”
When the prodigal son who was lost but later returned and was reconciled with his father,  his father proclaimed a day of joy and celebration for the household. Similarly, when we win lost souls, it becomes a moment of rejoicing and celebration in heaven.
2. The lost will be strengthened and cured.
Ezekiel 34:16 (NLT) says, “I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them safely home again. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak…”
Lost souls have strayed away and are wounded by the devil but God wants to heal their wounds and cure them. Reach out to them and God’s saving power will heal, strengthen and restore them into the kingdom of God.
3. The lost will be snatched from the flames of judgment.
Jude 1:23 (NLT) says, “Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. There are still others to whom you need to show mercy, but be careful that you aren’t contaminated by their sins.”
All lost souls are headed for the flames of eternal judgment, and there are some whose end is very near. As we reach out to the lost, God will guide us to snatch them from hellfire. We must not fail to rescue them or else, God will require their blood from us.
Precious one, let us get involved because lost souls need to be strengthened and cured, they must be snatched from the flames of judgment, and this will bring much rejoicing to the Father and to the host of heaven.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, give me the grace and zeal to reach out to lost souls, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Take Charge of Your Finances

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 70 (11/03/2022)
Proverbs 13:16 (NKJV) “Every prudent man acts with knowledge, But a fool lays open his folly.”
Don’t let money control you as a child of God but instead, take charge of your finances. We live in a world where almost everything we see is appealing to the eye, resulting in impulse buying of what we did not budget for.
The opening scripture says “every prudent man acts with knowledge”; in other words, every wise person thinks before he or she acts. Don’t let money dictate and think for yourself. You must have command over your money and intelligently know what you must do with it.
Here are three ways to take charge of your finances:
1. Don’t love money.
Ecclesiastes 5:10 (NLT) says, “Those who love money will never have enough. How absurd to think that wealth brings true happiness!”
Those who love money will never have enough. The things we love in life mostly have influence over us and tend to control us. Loving money will divide your devotion to God and will gradually lead you away from God until you are willing to do anything at all costs to get more money. Take charge and don’t be controlled by the love of money.
2. Be faithful in saving.
Proverbs 28:20 (NIV) says, “A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.”
One other way to take charge of your finances is to be faithful when it comes to savings. If you plan to save a certain amount of your salary every month at the bank, be committed to it and in so doing, you don’t allow money to control you. As do so, you will be richly blessed as the scripture above says.
3. Make proper investments.
Matthew 13:23 (NKJV) says, “But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
Take charge of your finances by making proper investments for your life and family. Seek out reliable financial and investment advice to help you make informed decisions. This will improve your financial stability and freedom in the long run.
Precious one, to exercise control over your finances, don’t be a captive of the love of money, you must be faithful in saving and apt in proper investments.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to take charge of my finances, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Have an Ambition In Life

By Bishop Charles Agyinasare
Day 69 (10/03/2022)
Philippians 3:13-14 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
The scripture above shows that Apostle Paul was never satisfied with past achievements; he knew there were more and greater things to aim for. Thus, he was always ambitious and focused to press toward his high calling.
When we are more focus-oriented and ambitious in life, we are able to achieve our goals. Unfortunately, many Christians are not ambitious in life, yet they want to see their dreams fulfilled. There is great fulfilment in pursuing a worthy ambition.
Here are three things to help you pursue your ambition:
1. Be determined.
Luke 13:24 (NKJV) says, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.”
Pursuing any worthy and significant goal in life is not easy; it is a narrow path with challenges that many are not willing to take. Such dreams or ambitions can only be conquered by those who are determined to press and strive to enter through the narrow path left by challenges and obstacles.
2. Depend on the power of God.
Colossians 1:29 (NLT) says, “I work very hard at this, as I depend on Christ’s mighty power that works within me.”
As Christians, we have no power on our own to achieve every ambition of ours. We must depend on the power of God to help us achieve them. As Apostle Paul said in the scripture above, your hard work and ambitions must depend on the mighty power of God.
3. Strip off every weight that slows you down.
Hebrews 12:1 (NLT) says, “Therefore since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us.”
There are weights that slow us down while pursuing our goals in life. Therefore, you must lay aside all those weights—fear, procrastination, laziness, lack of self-discipline etc—which diminishes the energy and focus you must direct towards your goals.
Precious one, have an ambition you are pursuing in life and be determined to reach it. You should always depend on the power of God and also strip off every weight that slows you down because there is a great prize at the end for you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I receive grace and wisdom to strive to attain my high calling in life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
